i spoke to Brandon Bordelon PetSmart Manager Lafayette 337-984-5319 he said he does not care what the refund policy is for Training classes he will NOT give me a FULL REFUND they have lost me as a customer i reported him to the pet-smart corporate office.... What is the refund policy for Training classes? If you’re not 100% satisfied, we’ll work to make it right — even retaking the in-person or online dog training class for free!...A satisfaction guarantee is a promise a brand makes to assure a buyer that a refund will be issued if the buyer is not satisfied with a product or service within a certain timeframe..... Is satisfaction guaranteed legally binding? Satisfaction Guaranteed typically refers to a legally-binding express guarantee of satisfaction in the contract of a sale of goods...... UPDATE SOMEONE NEW CALLED ME FROM THE LOCAL STORE SHE SAID TOO SHE DOES NOT CARE WHAT THE REFUND POLICY IS THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME A FULL REFUND!!!

I can't believe petsmart is storing and shipping old expired food. I ordered 3 bags of wellness core cat food. Opened bag and put out for my 4 cats to eat and they all refused to eat. I noticed the cat food smelled like paint, chemical smell then could not believe when I saw the cat food bags expiration dates were all expired June 2022. That is almost 2 years. I would recommend ordering cat food from Amazon.

We took our Shih Tsu to the PetSmart store in Tempe, AZ on 2/16/24 and will never put him through that horror story again! Like many other reviewers, we would give ZERO stars if we could. The groomer did a horrible, unprofessional job. For starters, she failed to completely rinse the shampoo from his coat, which caused extreme itching for several days. She also burned his stomach with a hot razor —and worst of all- cut his lower eyelid which got infected and swollen. After 2 days we took him to our vet who prescribed two medications for the itching and the eye infection and put a hood around his head. Total bill with vet follow-up was over $400. All this information (and documentation) was sent to the PetSmart corporate office in Phoenix by the store manager. Never heard a word back from anyone at their corporate office — not even a “WE’RE SORRY” we treated your dog so badly. They just don’t care!

We are visiting NC from California for a dear friend's funeral. Our Giant Schnauzer was in need of grooming, so we called PetSmart in Jacksonville, NC, to book the earliest available appointment, which was three days out at 8:00am. Our hotel was forty five minutes away in Emerald isle. After a long drive, we were shocked to hear that PetSmart refused to groom our dog because his rabies vaccination certificate had an expire date of TODAY, April 7th 2024. I asked to speak to the manager and explained that the certificate was valid THROUGH April 7th, which did not end until midnight, a full 16 hours from now! We drove a very long way and were hoping that the manager, Ms. Ash would accurately interpret the expire date and realize that our certificate was absolutely valid until THE END OF THAT DAY. Ashe, had no ability to understand the simple facts and was incredibly rude and dismissive. No regard for our time. No concern for the inconvenience she was causing us. Both her and the other staff member we encountered were incredibly rude and short. I tried to explain that we made the appointment several days ago and had traveled very far to be there on time. We checked the certificate upon booking and realized we just barely made the cut-off but never expected such rude treatment and blatant misinterpretation of the expiration. Ms. Ashe and her colleague should both be fired immediately in my opinion. This was the worst example of customer service and professionalism I have ever experienced. PetSmart needs to try much harder to hire people intelligent enough to know what "Good THROUGH" a certain date means and how to treat well meaning consumers who work hard for their money. I will never spend another penney with PetSmart and I will share this post via every social media outlet I have access to, in order that I might save others from similar unpleasant encounters with Ms Ashe and the ignorant PetSmart management.

I got a puppy, I have been taking the other dog for training classes, I had an issue with my landlord because my puppy was too young to have the rabies vaccine, the dog trainer offered to care for her until I could get everything taken care of, I get my puppy back, she's half starved, covered in fleas, and scared of me, my puppy was mistreated and half starved by someone who is paid to work with dogs!! I contacted corporate and they haven't reached out to me at all, if this is how this person treats a helpless puppy they should not be a trainer or be allowed to own any animals.

I will never ever take my furry family member back to Petsmart Grooming Dept.. They were totally unprofessional and very lacking in communication. My dog appointment was @10am and literally didn’t finish with her until after 6:00pm!!! totally unacceptable! I had to call once at 3:30 to which the groomer told me that they were behind, but give him an hour and he’ll call when he’s done… 2 plus hrs later, I call back and no one answered the phone! I was put on hold so I literally had to go to the store, (fuming) and see what was going on & why my pet spent the whole day, there! & why would no one call to ask me if I would like to either reschedule or continue to wait? & food for thought…just how many dogs could they possibly have before my dog when they open at 9 AM and she was drop off at 10:00am?! When each dog takes 2-3 hrs at least to groom? Anyways, When I got there I could see her on the grooming table being cut…what?! The reason: they had (ONE) difficult dog who didn’t want to be touched. I’m thinking & that was the domino effect? So, instead of calling the (difficult dog’s) owner and telling them that they would not be able to groom their dog or perhaps putting the difficult dogs to the side and getting the more patient and easier dogs out of the way…they kept how many dogs hostage?! for all that time?! I don’t buy it. And then making me think she was being treated when apparently she wasn’t. The only acceptable thing they did for me was discounted her grooming price… but, the damage was done for my dog. When my furry baby got home she was super thirsty and hungry. I’m done! I will not traumatize her by taking her back there! I’ll find someone who’s more caring & professional and better in communication.

Never had an issue with the physical stores or any of their employees, my issue lies within their online pharmacy. It's an atrocious system. I work at a vet office where I can physically see my veterinarian approve my prescription request, and yet I received 3 emails over the course of 7 days telling me my prescription hasn't been approved and thus my order cannot be filled. I had to call two times to their customer service to resolve the issue, and I was technically out of my dog's medication for 4 days by the time their shipment arrived. I ended up having to get a couple capsules from CVS-which since it's for a dog cost me $49 for FIVE PILLS. An entire bottle retails for $51. So if Chewy is out of your prescription, order from literally any other pharmacy online. I can't imagine a more useless and dysfunctional pharmacy exists out there.
