PetSmartReviews of petsmart.com

Every time I take my dog to get groomed at the PetSmart in Cleveland Tennessee they cut the hair on the end of his tail off even after I ask them not to. This is the first place and his whole 11 years it was cut off when it never had been before it has been a couple years since then and now that I'm back in this town and take him there they keep doing it again even when I ask them not to. We have been all over the country when I usually ask them not too they don't do it.

This company is okay, but I will admit that I like them much more than Petco. I haven't shopped online with PetSmart, so I don't have an opinion there, but I do enjoy shopping in their stores to purchase treats for my small dog. The employees are very friendly and the rewards system is great, especially when I don't shop there often. They are very patient with my shy dog and they really show their love for animals. Their stores are always clean too. What I don't like about PetSmart is that they charge much more for items verses other stores, which is why I don't shop there often.

I actually work at a PetSmart and I order stuff online that we didn't sell. Worst shopping yet. The box the play gate was in was torn and the box of cat food cans I got was empty. They all fell out being shipped somehow and it's a value pack box.

So, I was told that I had to give my phone # to purchase a fish!!! And then ask me for My Email address. Is this real? Is there a disclaimer on fish or what is this?

I have 4 large dogs so I'm there often and they rarely have good sales, and no coupons. They stopped price matching with other companies and will only match the price off their own website which saves close to $1. I think I'm going to look into chewy for my dogs needs and food !!

This was a first time groom (at Petsmart). They took me at last minute. They took the time to ask questions about history of my dog and check her over physically before they took her in. I was impressed at the time. Everyone was very nice. My dog is a mixed breed, no special requirement in haircut, other than cut her short and clean her up, she gets straggly hairs around her face, ears and legs. I think they did the haircut in 10 minutes or less. Still has straggly hairs, paw pads still quite hairy...They did not pay attention to the details. I did not pay any less than any other grooming place, the only benefit was they were able to her fit in to my schedule at the last minute, because my normal groomer got sick.

Provide very few services for cats.

I have just returned from trying to return a dog coat that I purchased on Oct. 29/20, the return policy states items can be returned in 60 days, I am 1 month and 4 days over the limit and I understand that but the velcro has failed on this coat and has fallen off my dog every single time in the last 10 days. The manager Kyle just kept saying that my dog coat had wear and was passed the 60 days. Well, of course it had wear its a winter dog coat that is worn 3 days a week when my 14lb dog goes to the park. This is a defective product not a regular return therefore it should have been returned. I asked Kyle if he thought that a dog coat should need to be purchased every 90 days and he said maybe. If this is how PetSmart treats their customers they have lost one in me. Needless to say I will pass this information along to all of my dog loving friends and doggie daycare. Update---after posting this review I called customer service at PetSmart and spoke to a very nice person who was sympathic to the defective coat, she said that someone would be in touch and 3 days later I received a call from Christina at the store I purchased from. She wanted to know how the conversation with Kyle went and immediately offered me a full refund over the phone. I am very impressed with PetSmart customer service, and I will continue to shop there as it seems they do value their customers
