So I decided to trust Petsmart again after they got me for $400 plus dollars saying treatment would help my pup back in 2019 and the pup died 4 hours later. Now I’ve taken my dog in for her having diarrhea they charged me $282 and what they gave didn’t work and decided to try to charge me another $140 after I took her in for them to see why she still has diarrhea. The wellness plans take care of nothing. They lock you in at a price monthly but do nothing. I will never go back And will definitely be posting via social media for none of my followers to go. They only care about money they even told me Fresh Pets wasn’t good for dogs but yet still it’s sold in a store they work out of. Bad business

After setting up my tank which was very expensive by the way and I also have a an electric filter motor aerator setup I went to PetSmart to get three small goldfish the girl was very rude to me and told me that goldfish grow so I needed to have a 20 gallon tank to be able to buy them which she is very mistaken because when I looked it up those size is I did ask for the small ones only need 2 gallons each she was very rude and very discriminatory I was with someone that does have a permanent disability and he does look like he has the permanent disability so I think she did it more by looks of my friend and I.I would never recommend going to petsmart.When I sent a complaint to them about it they were very rude and sarcastic," insult after injury "Thankful that I DONT HAVE TO GO BACK FOR ANY SUPPLIES!I have owned goldfish in the past,they probably wanted to sell a tank.Very bad business.Discrimination,civil consumer rights.

Had a random auto ship set up for my old address and since it processed in the middle of the night at 1 AM, I called when I woke up, the customer service person on the phone sounded so done with me as soon as I answered the phone. I started out being nice but they were not being helpful at all and said that I could call FedEx and have them reject the order and return it to PetSmart. You would think “so I would get my money back?” Nope! I would still get charged $75 and have no product to show for it. They said it was too late to cancel even though I never received a notice email that this was coming up. They also recommended I have a friend go pick it up and return it (I moved to a different state so that won’t work will it?). To make it all better, I set up a new auto ship for my new address and instead of receiving the 3 items I ordered, I received 1. They said there are two tracking numbers online and that the order is coming separately. Not sure where they saw two tracking numbers or if they just made that up, but I have one tracking number, an order that says it is fully completed, and a delivery picture of one item, not 3. Currently trying to find some solution with them but they are awful, with service, notifications, and general care for the pets they claim to care about.

Maggots! Absolutely horrified to find the $400 package of food I bought to be infested with maggots after cans were delivered damaged. PetSmart refused to replace the items nor did they seem shocked, which leads me to believe this is not the first time this has happened. I recommend spending your money somewhere that actually cares about the health of your pets rather than unapologetically shipping unsafe food. Absolutely horrid, unacceptable customer service.

I booked an appt. with Jennifer F. at the PetSmart in Oxon Hill, MD location for my dogs grooming. The appt. was at 9am. At 1:30pm I went up there to see if everything was okay. They told me that my dog hadn't even been seen yet. Therefore, my dog must have been in a cage for 4.5 hours. I took my dog and left. This has NEVER happened. I have always got good customer service and professionalism in the past. This was my first time scheduling with Jennifer F. NEVER, will I book with her again. I warn anyone who want to schedule at this location not to book with her.

I had a terrible experience with PetSmart Brandon Florida grooming service, their grooming service is beyond terrible, no words to describe how terrible their service is, the staff are extremely rude. I tried to get a bath service to my 14 years old female Shih Tzu, and they tread her so bad, she is an old dog, they need to have patience with elderly animals and not be so disrespectful. I just left my dog to the bath and after 2 minutes they call me back to get my dog asap because she was nervous, when I picked my dog up, she was so nervous and shaking.

Petsmart autoship is terrible. They charged me 3 times in May instead of once. I cancelled my subscription on May 31, 2024 due to this. They charged me twice in July 2024, which I told my credit card not to pay. When I talked to customer service they were not interested and hung up on me. Will never do business with them again. I wonder how many people who don’t check their bank statements have been over charged?

We recently took our American Eskie to a PetSmart grooming location for a full service grooming. We specifically requested that the groomer remove some matting from her coat. However, when we picked her up, we were shocked to discover that the groomer had shaved off half of her hair, leaving her skin exposed on the back part of her body. The groomer did not inform us of this decision in advance, and we would never have authorized such a drastic measure. When we expressed our shock and concern, the groomer was dismissive and unconcerned. Unfortunately, our dog developed a bacterial skin infection as a result of the grooming, which resulted in a $350 veterinary bill. Our veterinarian was appalled that the groomer had shaved off half of our dog's hair, as it is both harmful and unnecessary under the circumstances. In light of this experience, we would not recommend PetSmart grooming services to anyone, nor will we be returning to any PetSmart location for any pet supplies in the future.
