So this is my first experience taking my dog to get groomed since I just got my dog. So I booked an appointment for Saturday, @5:00pm I was told the grooming process takes about 3hours and that I would get a call when my dog was ready, they close @9:00pm so I figured I would get a call before closing, not only didn't I get a call but when I saw it was 8:20 and still no phone call, I decided to call instead only to hear that the groomer was still working on my dog and again she would supposed to give me call, Time was 8:48pm still no call, so I decided to show up the groomer was alone with my dog filing her nails and tells me to wait outside so that she wouldn't get anxious. I honestly don't know what would've happened if I decided to sit back and wait for this so call phone call that never happened, I was the only person in the store. There is a HUGE lack of proffesionalism my dog was very nervous and scared as if they've been doing something they weren't supposed to. I believe for the money I spent along with all other customers we deserve a much better treatment. Shame on you!

This is the worst experience in my past 46 years. I would like to buy 2-3 small fish for my new fish tank. I had a old one 5-gal tank and a new 10-gal tank. The new one is the gift from my friend last night. Then I went to the store which located in Bridgeport Rd in Richmond yesterday. The fish area manager was a young man, he came to ask me for my requirement. I told him I need buy some fish for my new 10-gal tank, and I just receive this gift one day. He refused to sell me. He said it is a “policy......”, I cannot buy any fish for my new tank within how many days, I have to do this, I have to do that, also I need to show him the big tank picture to him... If I can make him satisfied for all these "requests", he might sell me the fish, what a garbage idea...!?? He is really very rude, not friendly, bossy to everyone, whatever staff or customer. He is neither professional nor enough knowledgeable. I asked him to show me the “policy”. He replied “I could” but... nothing provide...???!!! I worked in 5-star hotel and retails for high level management for many years. I know what is the customer service. I know what is professionally. I came there for shopping not for making a trouble or feeling unhappy in weekend. I am a pet lover. How unlucky I met such a “...” person in my first experience setting my feet in PETSMART in Canada. This is no good for the reputation for the store and the brand. I feel very upset the whole day. I never met such bad bad bad customer service in my life. Can I understand it is kind of racial discrimination?

I was at Banfield pet hospital and had to pass thru petsmart to get out of the store. I had two dogs on leashes. 1 of the dogs wet on the floor. I asked one of the rude cashiers if she had any paper towel at her checkout stand. She told me to go over there and find it myself. Have you ever had two dogs and paper work in you hand and try find paper towel over there. I have a hard time walking with a cane and keeping my dogs in line at the same time, not even to go over there and get some paper towel. How hard would it have been to call someone to the front and help a handicap person. Rude and obnoxious checker. I would call her a b...h but this is a family site. This store needs a negative rating. Thanks for letting me vent.

I dont want to waste my time here but i wanted to warn people to stay out from this company.good thing i read comments now.all are bad comments.they have onsale item on black friday .it says onsale but when u pay for it .upay regular price . What a ripped off. I wasted my time browsing. Even for cyber monday that should be free shipping .when ur ready to pay its not free anymore..its adding 10 dollars shipping..bunch of liars..

I bought a bearded dragon from petsmart 2 months ago and from the start he didn’t seem well. I ended up taking him to the vet spending $200 for them to tell me he was born with parasites he got from his mother. Don’t buy lizards from here! They don’t care about their well being and are just trying to make money off of poor sick lizards. Disgusting.

ALMOST ALL OF THEIR RATINGS ON HERE ARE 1 STARS... AND RECENT..... PETSMART NEED TO CLEAN UP THEIR ACT HERE. FIRE SOME MORONS, AND GET THEIR STORE WORKING LIKE A REAL STORE. THIS LOCATION IS ((((PATHETIC)))) The management there is a constant rotation of undertrained MORONS!!! That take 0 pride in their work. If there's more than 3 at the register they are supposed to call another cashier...NOPE ....not at this place. Constantly 8 people in line, and 3 employees talking to each other. They have my dogs PRESCRIPTION FOOD about 70 percent of the time I go in. And if you point out that them not stocking an item is an inconvenience to the customer, you'll get a manager that acts like a 12 year old, throws a fit, and acts as though you're the problem. This place wasn't that bad until a couple years ago. They started hiring absolute morons. Their district manager but be the problem, because this company is failing badly in this city. I called the other 2 locations that carry my dogs prescription the other day, out of 3 stores, ONLY ONE STORE HAD ONE CAN!!!!. HEY!! PETSMART CORPORATE...LOOK AT ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS AT THIS LOCATION. IT MIGHT BE TIME FOR YOU TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR COMPANY BEFORE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS LIKE SEARS, MACY'S, ....EVEN SAM'S CLUB IS SHUTTING DOWN STORES! So don't think it can't happen to your company as well! I know it's 2018, and everyone's afraid to FIRE people...BUT IF YOUR STORE IS GETTING RAN THIS BADLY .....THEN IT MIGHT BE TIME TO GET YOUR ACT STRAIGHT!

I spend a lot of money in there and was told by gm to get my stuff and get out. She swore I was in there more than 30 mins which was not true. I went to buy a toy for my parrot and a groom comb. Very rude store always a mess never have what I need. Never going back there ever again.. Lost a high paying customer....,,

I went to petsmart on Tuesday for my 2 dogs Gromming at 3:00pm. I got there and they toll me that I didn't schedule an appoitment with them. I schedule my dogs appoitment over the phone on Sunday! No serious business, the worst thing is that even the Manager in charge cannot help you out. I'm done with this joke store and I will take my dogs to a locally operated business.
