Took our Shitsu Maltese baby to the Petsmart at Warden and Eglinton (2050 Eglinton Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1L 2M6). We had the most horrible experience with the reps and manager there. We had made an appointment earlier in the day to leave our baby for play time and were asked to bring proof of his Rabies updated shot. We did, from his regular doctor. Instead of a warm welcome, as we have had in the past, we were told they could not accept him, since the proof from our doc was a written document, as all his previous shots. They said unless it was computerised, they couldn't accept our doggie, even though all previous ones were the same type. These attendants had a miserable attitude and horrible customer service! All the 3 dogie day care persons on duty at PetSmart Warden, including the 1 unsympathetic guy , I rude assistant and one oblivious manager on duty:Elise, did not listen to our concerns, did not show any empathy, nor admitted having made a mistake, nor took any responsibility or ownership of the situation and despite having a current proof of the rabbies shot still valid (and in the format that doctor Wilson offers). They were rude and disrespectful and showed no care of CHEWBACCA being a long term member, and us being long term clients! Shame on these employees! I would not recommend that you bring your doggies here unless they re-train or remove these employees and put in place a high standard of customer service and genuine care and love for all the puppies that come to their counter!

I took my Yorkie into Petsmart on 281 and Evans here in San Antonio Texas yesterday to have her groomed. I asked for a summer cut which they did but they botched her so badly I’m not sure she will ever look as good as she did when she went in. I am sorry I let them groomed her. I am so disappointed I have gone to this particular store and use their grooming department for seven years never had a bad job until now. Up until two months ago I had the same groomer each time was always greeted and showed they cared about Missy. I will be looking for another groomer just wanted to let people know you have to always be on your toes when you see a new group of groomers at your regular shop you should realize there’s something going on. Those who were there yesterday were very rude. I was used to being greeted, not ignored, getting an update on how she acted. I had to go up front without my baby and pay which I understood but was not told this is a new rule since a lot of customers apparently were leaving without paying, where others were able to take their pet, then walk back to get my baby which was not a big deal but I had to wait without any type of acknowledgment even though I had paid there was not even, I am sorry will be right with you. It was like “are you back.” Just wanted to vent hope this helps others to check more carefully before making a decision to keep on going even though your gut tells you something is wrong.

I have a poodle who I take regularly for grooming. She started smelling wierd even the day of her grooming. Then I saw her scratching her ears . I took her to the vet who said here ears were never cleaned. $400 and lots of medication later it finally got fixed by the vet. I called to complain to the salon who were extremely rude and canceled my appoints.

I have a schnauzer that I take to petsmart, I asked for the schnauzer cut which includes the dog having a skirt, the groomer charged me a extra 30.00 stating that the dog had a little madding under her stomach but this was not told to me until I came to pick the dog up, the dog did not have a schnauzer cut, all they did was shaved the dog bald, I paid 97.00 for a hair cut I could have easily did at home.. baseline &24th petsmart is the worse ever.

Purchased an item for 16.99 and my return price was was 14.27. I bought feeding fish which died within 3 hours and they refused to refund or store credit. They lost me and my entire pet loving family as customers. We have cats, dogs, turtles, chickens, birds, we most recently purchased a pony and we more than often shoPPED here but this is bad business practice. And the sad thing is that I go to Chewy.com which I understand petsmart owns and the same item is 11.00dollars. I feel PETDUMB!

I would give zero stars if I could, I have loved animals and aquariums for as long as I can remember and am a frequent flier at petsmart. I have had a well maintained goldfish tank 54 gallon with a couple fancy goldfish for 3 years, many of the fish I have had since I got the tank and never had a problem. Those fish came from Walmart but since they no longer sell fish I decided to get one from petsmart. I took a good look at the little guy and he was cute so I figured what the heck its petsmart I can trust them they claim to have very good care of their aquariums. Well a week or two into introducing the fish to my tank, ich covers every single fish... and it breaks my heart. I called and they reccomend a treatment saying it's what they are using to treat ich RIGHT NOW! after the treatment the poor fish are still so sick I call again and talk to a manager to let them know. They tell me they have well maintained tanks and it couldn't have been them.... 3 years of hard work, care and money. And all the lives of my beloved aquarium fish lost and all they say is sorry for the inconvenience. NEVER TRUST A PETSMART FISH! I'm heartbroken and disappointed beyond belief.

I took my dog to get her nails trim and they did not tell me to bring her shots records, Very Unperfinal Place I Have Every Been to I could not get her nails cut Had to reschedule I went to another place and had no problem THE NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER OR CLOSE DOWN !!!!

The place is a joke. A total rip off. A few days ago, I went shopping with my daughter and she had talked me into going into PetSmart to look around. At the front of the store they had a clearance rack of items that were 75% off. I grabbed a few things I thought were a great deal. A bag of cat food($5.76), a dog collar($3.26), a calming dog collar($5.52), and some calming tablets for dogs that were not on clearance($10.99). Somehow my total was $44.79. I didn't have a chance to review my purchase until I got home and I realized I was charged regular price for everything! And I don't live nearby so returning wasn't worth the drive. *Dear PetSmart, if you're going to have a clearance rack, PLEASE change the price in the system or place a new barcode on the product. Not just a sticker with a price written on it like it's a garage sale. Or train your employees to open their eyes when ringing up customers. Very disappointed and probably won't be a returning customer.
