I used several different Petsmart grooming locations through the years and observed many more because I shop there. It’s just a job for their groomers. They show no personal connection to the pets. On no occasional have I ever seen groomers interact, talk to them, comfort them. Petsmart groomers are either silent or speaking to other groomers while they groom. I’ve seen them adjust dogs in a very aggressive manner, jerking, pulling and twisting them. My dogs always came back traumatized. I finally chose a small independent groomer that truly cares for my pets.

After receiving an email from petsmart letting my white family know that "Black lives matter ". Petsmart is supporting this and asking for donations. I say all lives matter and will not be doing business there anymore! Good luck with the genius that came up with this idea!

Awful customer service at the grooming center. they don’t know what are they doing and they did a horrible job. They cut my puppy’s leg and they said he was biting our hand which they were lying my puppy never bites.

I would give them a zero if I could. Even at the corporate level they are not concerned about customer service. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE COMMERCE MICHIGAN PETSMART. Absolutely Horrible customer service.

I give 1 star because the Grooming salon at SW Plaza is AMAZING!!!!!! Worth the drive!! DO NOT and I say DO NOT go the the petsmart off of University and C4-70 to have your pet groomed. In fact, I may just forfeit even walking into the store ever again! I dropped my dog off at this groomers at 5pm and was told that if I did not hear from them by 830 to head up to the store as they would be closing soon and took my dog and went to the back with NO discussion as to what he needed done. I had to grab someone and initiate that conversation. (that should have been my 1st cue that things were off) I walked into the store and noticed that my baby boy was still being worked on, so proceeded to check out to pay. Once I aid me and my daughter walked around the store a bit and decided to check in on Bodhi, I had to be very careful that he didnt see me and what I saw made me SO angry. She had a hold of his ear so tight and was brushing so hard he was whimpering... We were done! I walked in and said we are done please, the staff proceeded to tell me how he took SO long because he crapped himself in the kennel and they had to rewash him, all while seeming incredibly irritated with my dog. I called the next day and spoke with the store manager just to let her know what my experience was and we would not be going back. She was so kind and the end result was he was to be with a vetted groomer and it would be and express in and out service. She really wanted to make it right. This was back in Feb. mind you. So 2hrs before his appt I get a call telling me that we needed to move Bodhis appointment and they didnt know when to, but his groomer was off for the day and she would have to call me in a couple days. I asked to speak to the manager of the salon, and she was VERY rude and seemed overworked and irritated that I had any questions regarding what had happened. I ended up calling the store manager who was out on vacation, so I spoke the assistant manager whom also seemed genuinely concerned and said she would have the store manager call when she returns on Monday. It is now Thursday and I have had NO calls. I understand we are in a pandemic rt now and stuff happens, but customer service is lacking at this place and there is no care for your pets well being either. Research your groomers people, and do not use this petsmart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give them 0 minus... On 15 May 2020. ROSCOE a 3yr old Healthy male dog had a appointment at Pet smart Jefferson City Missouri to have his nails cut and a bath... On returning to pick him up the owner was told he is DEAD!!! They wouldn't allow the owner to view the footage and with no explanation this is a ongoing investigation... Don't take your dog there to be groomed or anything. If you do stay with your pet the whole time...

I watched a video and they let there animals such as bearded dragons, anoles, and gecko sick and dying take care of your animals

Honestly, very poor choices for small animals owners, but unfortunately, I'm forced to shop here most of the time because of the lack of supplies other smaller pet stores carries. It's sad that they don't advocate proper husbandry for the small animals, to add oil to the fire they also only sell enclosures that attracts the eyes of a child, cheap brands for food and heavily dyed toys and accessories. The brochures are no help, the information provided are outdated or just wrong!
