Not good even for fish. I went to that store to get some live plants for my bettas tank, which is 5gallons and I bet most of you reading this would be amazed and dumbfounded to know bettas are supposed to be in a five gallon or higher tank. So seeing all the .5 gallons really made me mad. You wouldn’t keep your dog in a tiny cage all day every day why would you a fish? Secondly, the live plants are hit or miss. I spent 12$ on two of the same plant and one was decent and alive but the other completely fell apart and was basically dead and how they put their sticker on completely hides the plant so you won’t really know at all what the quality is of smaller plants.

They are purposely understaffing stores and making the employees they still have take on more work. Not a very good atmosphere while visiting your Stoney Creek ON location. Employees seem overworked and irritated but who can blame them! Hard to get help cant always find someone and the line up is always huge and a long wait with only one cashier working. I don't so much fault the employees, I fault the company. Will try to avoid this store until things improve which I hope they do.

They shipped wrong items and steps for returning is so complicated. I asked to send the correct product again but they said it’s out of stock! Chewy is better service

I purchased a pet gate at the Ontario, Ohio location and after getting it home, it would not work where I needed it. When I went to return, they told they weren't taking returns due to COVID19 but when normal hours resumed i could return as long as I had my receipt. I have stopped or called every other week and no returns yet. I called this morning and was told that they started accepting returns at the beginning of June and I was past the return date and they could only exchange. When I called 2 weeks ago, they weren't accepting returns. Person on phone today wanted to argue. I hung up. Will never set foot in a Petsmart ever again.

I had a grooming appointment at 9:15 and checked my dog in online, and got to Petsmart at 9:02 am. There were 2 other people waiting outside for curbside check-in before me. The employee came out and saw all of us standing there and then started to check in the others. They began to go up to all the other people with their dogs except for me. After everyone had left instead of coming up to me like everyone else, she had me come up to the desk. The employee (Brittany) asked how to pronounce my dogs name and I told her. Then she asked, "Can you speak English?". I was so appalled at her question I asked her, "Is that the reason that I was last even though I came before the other two?". She began to tell me that it wasn't because of my race, that their appointments were at 9:15 am and they were standing closer to the table. Then she said that she was uncomfortable talking with me and will have her manager come out. The manager came out and had asked what happened. I told her and she said that that wasn't the story her associate told her. Then she said, "my associate doesn't feel comfortable being called racist and won't be comfortable grooming your dog". I asked her, "your associate is the one who discriminated me by asking me if I could speak English and is now uncomfortable grooming my dog?". She said I'll be more than happy to give you the number to corporate and I told her I'll contact them myself and left. I've never experienced anything like this and instead of trying to fix the issue, she made the situation worse. I don't even know what to think or how to go about this situation?

So like many of you the one star is giving too much. I didn’t have a problem until now and Petsmart will forever lose my business until they change their policies and update them based on the increasingly common pets with either immune mediating diseases or any pet that has had or has cancer. I used to take my ex-racing greyhound And blood-donor to doggy Daycare on days I didn’t work and just wanted to know my separation anxiety-ridden companion was being watched, and not have to be medicated to safely stay home alone and not destroy anything. No I just got him in April of 2019 and started daycare immediately. It was a good way for him to socialize and not have to worry about me not being there. This went on until January of this year (2020) where my 6 year old life-saving dog (literally) was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and had his leg amputated and underwent chemo. He is since graduated and obviously with COVID I haven’t brought him but I wanted to inquire about new policies and question their vaccine policy since his were technically due in April. Now, I do work in the veterinary field so I unfortunately see far too many dogs and cats with immune mediating diseases that stops them from getting ANY vaccines after diagnosis. Like theses friends, my dog is no longer allowed ANY vaccines as it WILL kill him. I understand the reason to make sure all participants in doggy daycare stay up to date on vaccines but I also know there are something called “titers” and that’s a blood test to test the quantity of antibodies your animal has. Any vaccinated animal will have antibodies. As long as the pet had antibodies and all other pets have either proof of antibodies (with of course a veterinary exemption form) OR the physical vaccine, there’s no spread of the virus the vaccines prevent. Unfortunately after speaking with”Matt” who is the district manager/leader of the southeast area, the veterinarian and lawyers that run these policies don’t have that in place. I was offered a $25 gift card though. I kindly told “matt” I don’t wish to have a gift card of a company that doesn’t support my dog. Petsmart will forever lose my business and I will no longer speak good of them as that’s as far as my phone call went. He did not offer me to speak with anyone higher up. I know the medical field in general is constantly evolving, same with veterinary medicine and if your policies don’t evolve with it, what kind of company is that?

Horrible cut. Didn’t do what I asked. She didn’t know what she was doing. Cut everything off my beautiful bichon and let him sit for hours alone. Never again.

Horrible treatment and work! After 9 years of bringing my dog to them the new manager decides that my dog needs to be placed in a different category because he is big! After 9 years my 25lbs dog is considered big by this "new manager" and of course they will charge me more! Then when I go to pick him up there is a woman there without a mask. I questioned them and they said it was OK! No! It's not OK when it has been mandated in our county! When I got my dog, his hair cut was awful! I just took my dog with me and left. I'm writing this review so you may be careful with this place. This "new management" as she kept saying, it's going to hurt the business as I am already in contact with another grooming place to fix the disaster they made on my dog. 6134 E COLONIAL DR , ORLANDO, FL 32807
