Made a grooming appointment over a month in advance at the Dearborn, MI location and left a note saying I’d be giving my dog anti anxiety meds beforehand. She was denied service because of the meds on the day of her appointment. No one bothered to read the note I’d left. They could’ve called me in advance to let me know not to give it to her. Makes me wonder how much attention they pay to anything there.

Been going to Petsmart off Walzem in San Antonio for 15 year. Yesterday, the groomers were rude and I almost did not leave my dog, but did. I get a call that they can't complete the cut because my 3 year old cocker snapped at the groomer. I asked what was done to him, because he has never done that and got no response. When I picked up no one spoke to me. Teddy was brought out by another person and he looked like he had been half sheared like a sheep! I was furious and my dog was traumatized and just wanted to be held. Spoke to store manager and he asked no questions, wrote nothing down, didn't look at my dog and said I'll talk to them. Really?! I'm telling everyone to stay away from Petsmart if you love your pets.

I went to the PetSmart in Kearny to get my dogs nails clipped and they treated him poorly pulling on his arms and legs putting his leash on too tight and not giving him a second chance.I would not recommend PetSmart to anybody in this Universe.Terrible.Horrible.

I go to the Petsmart in Bridgewater, NJ. First of all, this place has instilled fear into my dog ever since he was a puppy. They have poorly shaved him, caused him rashes, and cuts. There's many occasions where they leave him caged up for hours without calling us to get him and he hasn't used the bathroom in hours and he is starving and thirsty. One time I took him to get his nails trimmed only and an entire paw was covered in blood and they used a specific tape + powder to try and hide that from me. They didn't let me know what had happened, I only noticed he was hurt because he was licking that area. They are too quick at giving haircuts and nail trimmings just to get the dogs out of the way. They seem to always be ready to gossip and hangout instead of taking their time to do their job. They expect tips when their services are already overpriced. Its a whole mess.

Incompetent Customer Services!! I wouldn't give them a star, but since I had to they got a 1. I went to Petsmart in Bloomington, Indiana for some dewormed for my puppy. When I went to the register the cashier went and got it because they didn't have it out on the floor. I asked the cashier how much it was, "She responded that it was $39.00 dollars, I asked why it was so high, and she said, "I don't make the prices here and she hoped on her cell phone!!" She walked away while I was still at the register. She came back a few minutes later and said, "Have you decided to get the product?" I was so angry that she was incompetent of the product and she was disrespectful by talking on the phone. I will be taking my business elsewhere because I need more competent Customer service of a product that I am purchasing. I won't step foot back into another Petsmart.

I tried to get my schnauzer groomed in Wheat Ridge, Colorado; the groomers determined that he was being too aggressive and turned us away. My little pup has never bitten, but he does get nervous and will growl for a few minutes until he settles down. Other groomers in the past have always taken him in and taken the time to make him comfortable. Experience counts. An experienced groomer can handle all kinds of dogs, I think they should only allow good ones to work here. very disappointing. I will try the Lakewood location, never again go to this shop.

Terrible experience! Dogs treated like objects on an assembly line and roughly handled. Dogs howling from kennels in the "staff only" area. I paid $81.00 and when I picked up my dog, she needed add'l grooming, which I demanded they do on the spot. When I returned home, she needed add'l clipping. A very sloppy job! She was also ravenously thirsty and obviously did not have access to fresh water during her "visit". I will never, under any circumstances, use PetSmart again.

Discriminatory. For a pet store, they don't seem to know much about pets. Pitbulls are just dogs yet they are not allowed to participate in many Petsmart events. I will be shopping elsewhere until this is revoked. Pitbulls face so many issues in our world, so many abusers and so much neglect and hatred. It should not be coming from you. Shameful.
