Took my dog to be groomed. Booked online. First, no disclosure that weekend rates are $5.00 higher for any services. Also, web site wasn't clear so they didn't actually groom my dog. Just a bath and charged $65.00. Manager admitted that the web site was not clear and that when you book online your dog's history is not visible. Others have complained as well. In the end, manager would not make it right beyond putting us on a wait list that is weeks long. We won't be back.

This afternoon, I tried to order 150 puppy pads and 3 containers of soft Milk Bones for my Shih Tzu. I've used PetSmart's pads for years and I like them. When I went to check out, the website screen prevented me from moving forward because the MilkBones could not be "overnighted" to my home. I called Customer Service and spoke with a rep who sounded like he was reading a magazine in addition to talking to me. To some extent, he did try (but not very hard) to help. At the end of the frustrating conversation, he admitted there was nothing he could do. The only option would be for me to pick up the MilkBones at a PetSmart store (oh, and the closest store, which is an hour away from me, no longer had the MilkBones). I politely thanked him for his time (?) and bought what I needed from Chewy's. I think PetSmart is out of its mind if it does not need its customers any more than that. We have all seen what is happening to companies with a lot of bricks and mortar stores and running off loyal customers just because they can't be bothered is a really bad policy.

I ordered few things for my cat and did door dash delivery. Supposedly they came and called me 3 times but in reality nobody called me. And I was continually tracking my order location online. They probably never came or called. I called customer service and they weren’t helpful either… seriously disappointed with service

PETSMART IN EL CAJON,CALIFORNIA Well now...understanding during Covid goes just so far. This location has repeatedly shown a profound incompetence and unwillingness to accept any responsibility when it is evident that they are clearly in the wrong. On numerous occasions we have taken our dog Buddy into this PetSmart for one of the highest priced grooming services offered and have consistently been dissatisfied in the final results. Did we mention it to Management? YES. And each time their excuses only overshadowed their inability to accept responsibility. At least three times, my wife and I left swearing to never return but after much patience and sensitivity we returned. NO MORE. On Monday I spoke with someone to schedule a top dog and let the person know Buddy would be getting his annual shot requiements on Thursday. She informed me that 48 hours would need to pass beforehand and wanted to make the reservation for Saturday and I opted for Sunday. That would be today....when I arrived, early mind you, they could not find any record of my appointment. Absolutely incredible. After letting the groomer know how dissatisfied we were after numerous times and told her to forget it her initial response was "ok". WOW. Once again not even an apology but an attitude that shouted 'not our fault that YOU made the mistake.' The only mistake I made was to return to this poor excuse for what should be a service oriented corporate facility with higher standards. SHOPPERS BEWARE. if they treat their guests like this I shudder to see how they treat their loving pets! Signed a 10 year customer no more!

I bought two snails one was dead and I bought a Loach they said it was so small I couldn't see it in the bag when I got home I shook the bag around it was no Loach in the bag the emblem of the Blackfish on the PetSmart bags he's such an absolutely horrible horrible idea because if you have a very small fish that hides right around that emblem you can't tell if it's in the bag or not and I just had a sales associate tell me that there was a Loach hiding in between the snails right on that emblem will when I got home I exam the bag in the light and moved it around and there was no lo lo and behold so I have one dead snail and no Loach and they told me that I couldn't get my money back so I'm very upset about your product placement on the bags you can't see what's in the bags with that big black fish emblem on their

In August I adopted two female Guinea pigs for my daughter from the Petsmart in Morrisville NC. It was stressed to us that they only sell females and they don’t have males in their store. I trusted what was said to me. One of our GPs began putting on a lot of weight around her abdominal area. Because we had two females I thought she was just greedy. No way she’s pregnant. It know a couple months later. Tonight my daughter said mom I’m worried, she’s really big, I went to pick her up and I felt movement in her belly area, a lot of movement. I immediately took them both to the closest Petsmart because the vet offices was closed tonight. When we got to Petsmart the person at the store said yes she’s definitely pregnant, she looked at the genitals of the other GP and said this is definitely a boy. I called the Petsmart location we adopted the GPs from and spoke to Chase. Not only was he rude but he was very defensive and said you had 14 days, we wouldn’t have sold you a male guinea pig. I’d say the 14 day rule shouldn’t even be a factor in this case and she’s pregnant so. Bottom line is we were told we were adopting two FEMALE guinea pigs and now have a male and female. We can only keep one of them because two is more than enough for our family. I can’t believe Chase had the audacity to be that rude and defensive, they were the ones who lied! Whether intentional or not, they didn’t check to make sure they had girls, but told us they’d checked! He continued to be rude and defensive so I asked for his name and got off the phone him. The women at the other location that we took the GPs to be checked was so nice and even said keep me updated on how the mom’s doing. She wasn’t a vet and didn’t give up medical advice but she was at least kind and showed some empathy with our situation. This is so messed up. I will NEVER adopt another pet from Petsmart. I can’t trust that they will be honest about there pets or honor what they say. Everyone makes mistakes, but when you do, don’t mistreat the customer if you’re in the wrong, own up to it. I can except a mistake, what I can’t accept being treated like crap. His behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable.

Never had an issue with PetSmart until today. I ordered a pickup for cat food though the PetSmart app, specifying that I would be the one to pick it up, and some DoorDash employee somehow got their hands on my name and order, took my stuff, and PetSmart let them walk right back out. No excuse for that. You should have called me.
