My daughter & I went on Black Friday, today, to get a big fish tank, stand and everything to go in it - the total amount for everything would have come to almost $500 after the sale prices. The tank/stand setup was marked from $350 to $175. We spent almost 2 hours in there, one of the associates helped us extensively - he was very knowledgeable and nice. The cashier was also very nice and helpful. While checking out, the tank/stand did not mark down - it was coming up full price. The Manager came over and was super rude, he said it wasn't on sale and said it wasn't marked down. We told him numerous times that the associate who had helped us verbally told us it was $175 and he still said it wasn't marked down. I also said to the cashier that everything on that shelf had a Black Friday mark down tag on it & she said "I know." While we were shopping, the associate that helped us came by and started taking all the Black Friday tags off, he said he was asked to take them off before he left, which is fine, but then the Manager refused to give us the Black Friday price. I also told the Manager that I had said to the cashier that all the tags on that shelf had Black Friday prices & that she had said "I know" - to which he finally said that even if it was marked down that we couldn't get the price because it wasn't supposed to be marked down. He was super rude and didn't care one bit that we spent all that time in there and were going to spend almost $500. Not to mention, that's where my daughter got her other 2 fish tank setups & regularly goes to get her fish supplies. We will not be going to Petsmart anymore. We used to live in NY & there was a really bad flood that killed almost all the pets at the Petsmart there - one of the employees went to try to get the animals out but couldn't get in - because guess what, Petsmart did not care enough to try to get them out - it was all over the news, look it up - Johnson City, NY. We figured that maybe it was a one time terrible thing that happened, regardless of what the news said, so we started going there again here in Delaware, Dover store - apparently that is not the case - terrible management in multiple stores. This company is not worth giving another chance to. I just hope the 2 employees don't get in trouble, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they did.

On November the 14th 2020 I had an appointment scheduled for my Shanticlair with Cassie/ Shanticlair gets the Bath/Full Haircut/ FURminator/ nail grind & Others thing. Due to water issue grooming don't do bath) every time I go I say DO NOT CUT HER TAIL DO NOT CUT HER TAIL I took her & rushing to go out of town picked her up & dropped her off home left! I got home Sunday & I looked at my baby & I'm like what hell kind cut style she do I'm confused hair wasn't cut her belly was shaved from her breast area down and everything else was left just the same way I brought her in okay so that was $55-60 going down the drain for that okay I call she tell me I can't bring her back i have to wait a week. DON'T KNOW WHY I HAVE WAIT WEEK TO GET HER HAIR CUT CORRECTLY & THAT'S WHAT I PAID FOR & IT DIDN'T GET DONE! IM PI$$ED OFF So i schedule a an appointment witn Xavier he has groomed her before and I asked when will the store start back bathing dogs & tell him grind on her nails give her a good cut shaver down DO NOT CUT HER TAIL DO NOT CUT HER TAIL I repeat it! Everytime I go in i tell who ever checks me in DO NOT CUT HER TAIL DO NOT CUT HER TAIL I dropped her off i didn't go far cause this store doesn't bath dogs due to water issue in Lake Jackson,Tx so I go and I pick my dog up and she walking in & In my head i want go off HER TAIL IS CUT I don't understand it I'm PAYING FOR A SERVICE & I ASKED REQUESTED I SAID DO NOT CUT HER TAIL DO NOT CUT HER TAIL. WHY WHY WHY WHY 11/14/20 I PAID FOR SERVICE & GOT HACK JOB OF CUT & RUDE EMPLOYEE WHEN CALL TO SEE WHY & 11/26/20 $5060 for my dog to get her haircut the correct way FROM HACK CUT SHE GOT 11/14/20 HE CUT HER TAIL both times I get screwed over and I AM BEYOND PISSED I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT I PAID $110.00 FOR 2 HAIRCUT! I WILL PAY WHATEVER I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY SHANTICLAIR. to be fully groomed and taken care of but if I ask you not to cut her tail why would you cut her tail if I ask you to cut her hair shave her down so she won't be looking all wild why is it I can't get that done I don't understand that I have the photos to prove it it makes no sense two weeks $110. out of me and each time my dog haircut is screwed up and this makes no sense I SAY IT EVERY SINGLE time so WHY IS IT TODAY MY Shanticlairs TAIL CUT WHY LAST WEEK WHEN MY Shanticlair GOT A CUT FROM HELL FROM WHOEVER CASSIE this DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE AT ALL! ON TOP ALL THAT MY HUSBAND TOLD ME TAKE HER SOMEWHERE ELSE CAUSE ITS GOING HAPPEN & I'M GOING TO BE MAD AGAIN I SAID NO & I schedule her appointment with a groomer who has cut her before & he was right so now Shanticlair tail cut & I have to tell my husband he was right & ALL OF THIS DIDN'T HAVE HAPPEN IF CASSI WOULD . CUT HER THE RIGHT THE 1ST TIME!! I DON'T GET IT!! I HAD 1 ISSUE 1 TIME SHANTICLAIR HAS BEEN HERE MANY TIMES & I HATE TO THINK THE WORST BUT I REALIZE WHY MY SHANTICLAIR MY BABY GOT TREATED LIKE THIS & ALL CLEAR!! THIS MY BABY THIS WILL NEVER NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN I'M BEYOND MAD! $110.00 FOR PI$$ POOR SERVICE & I HAVE ALL PICTURES & MY DOG FOR PROOF

If I could give this store a zero out of 5 stars I would, for one lets start off with them yelling at you saying "Welcome to petsmart" for 40 feet away but never acknowledge your existence. Also when I wanted to see the corn snakes they were really unhealthy, no hides, and everyone there was "too scared" to hold it. Also the fact that we can't hold them ourselves? Your tanks aren't even tanks, they look like plastic. Also snake tanks need to be 20 gallons when they are smaller, and the tanks are like the size of my full left hand. It's really dry in there and the animals look very sad. Also Petco's snakes are much happier and taken care of. DO NOT BUY FROM PETSMART. Get animals across the street at Petco, or online at chewy.com or amazon.

This review is more for the online service rather than the store itself. I have Covid. I was trying to order food for my cat who needs special food for urinary problems. I ordered online expecting the "one hour delivery" I had seen advertised. My cat was out of food. Nothing came. I finally called the store who told me that the food would not come from them, but from the warehouse. I called customer service and cancelled. I thought that it was because it was an autoship that I thought it would be prudent to sign up for. I tried ordering "curbside pickup" hours went by and no "email to tell me when my order was ready". I called the store. They had no record of my order. They said it would take seven days since it was prescription food! NOTHING on the website mentions this! I am recovering from the COVID virus, but was told the only solution was to go to the store! Petsmart obviously is not concerned about their employees, much less their customers. Addendum: I called their CS again and was told that there was a way to expidite but I would need to email his prescription card. They refused to honor it because it had expired! We are talking about cat food! Not a protected substance/drug of some kind!

I got a Parakeet from this store a few years ago, unfortunately, she passed away after I had her for 5 days. Now I have a new Parakeet that I got from Petco, and I have now had her for 2 years.

The reason im giving 1 star is due to the issues that rose from an on-line order. Doordash stinks. Thank God they took a picture of the delivery because it gave me the ability to drive around my neighborhood and find my order by looking for a "Green front door". I never received a confirmation e-mail that my package was delivered. The Doordash package tracking link wasnt working yesterday. So itbwasnt until the following morning that i realized my package was at the wrong house. When i called the customer service to inform them my delivery was dropped off at some unknown location, the agent transferred me to the local store without informing her of the issue, so i had to start my story all over again. She took her orders from her manager that someone would call me back. So i went on an excursion to find my package. That being said. Jen from the Tinley Park location is the only employee i dealt with today that deserves 5 stars.
