DONT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE. I've been bringing my dog here since he was about 9-12 weeks old to get groomed he is now 2 years and 5 mo. old. My dog was always tended to by a lady named Christine for over a year, never had any problems with her. She would express his anal glands during EACH visit WITHOUT ME HAVING TO MENTION IT. She left that location so my dog has been going to the other groomers there. NO ONE MENTIONED OR EDUCATED ME ON ANAL GLAND EXPRESSION OR THAT I HAD TO SPECIFICALLY ASK FOR IT TO BE DONE. I now learned it is NECESSARY for a maltipoo breed. But apparently the groomers didn't think it was wise to mention it. There was a possible injury/irritation caused towards my dog. He needed medical attention and no one was responsible or respectful enough to call me to tell me he needed medical attention. Lack of care and integrity. When I got home I noticed a prominent red spot and swollen purple spot on my dogs anal area. No one thought it was a good idea to call me so he could get medical attention I had to drive him back to that locations vet hospital to get medical attention. Since it was Sunday his vet was closed. I paid for the grooming and the vet bill because they claimed “it was not caused by the grooming salon” which technically it was since they never continued the services like Christine would. I have been a longtime customer and paid hundreds of dollars in training classes for my pup since he was 12 weeks old, for PetSmart to just be negligent like that. Horrible place taking my business to real professional groomers.

Worst grooming experience ever. No reason to shave my dog so short. Just pure laziness of the groomer. Will never return. Not kidding.

If I could give a zero star I would. I got my ball python from petsmart and they kept two in the same tank, which is not recommended it’s common sense. I got my baby (realistically he’s around four months) because everytime I went in there he would be up against the glass because the second ball python in the tank would be hogging the hide. I was looking at this ball for a couple of weeks and he would be in the same position everytime I’d come in. I felt so bad I just went ahead and got him. Not my first ball python so I had a tank and everything ready and the knowledge of caring for them. They don’t know the sex and they also couldn’t tell me the last time they fed him... ??? He seems to be doing good in my care for the past month I’ve had him and thankfully I’ve got him on a good feeding schedule but I feel terribly for the ones that are still in Petsmart’s awful care. Do better Petsmart!

I have used PetSmart grooming for years and will never go back after my experience there yesterday. They charged me an extra $30 for 1 hour of brushing and de-matting but in fact finished my dog’s grooming appointment 30 minutes earlier then they have ever groomed her before. It usually takes 3 hours and I was called and told she was ready 2.5 hours after dropping her off. I spoke with a manager who was useless and will never use them again due to their lack of customer service skills. I have several pets and Petco is about to get all of my business!

The conditions the animals are kept in especially the reptiles are disgusting. They shove multiple leopard geckos inside tanks where they fight each other and for food, which they don’t get enough of. The 3 I saw were so skinny I wouldn’t be surprised if they are dead within the next couple days. If you are a pet store selling live animals at least take care of them properly or simply don’t sell them at all. The staff even told me they aren’t supposed to touch the animals. How are these poor creatures being taken care of properly if that’s the case? The answer is obvious, they ARENT. I’m sick of going in there and always coming out depressed because of how the animals are kept and treated. Fix your disgusting conditions.

1 day shipment doesn't work at all. It takes 7 days. I got confirmation on my email about my order with order number. On other day they couln't find my order. So irresponsible people

I was thinking about buying a betta fish from petsmart after seeing one on the web, so I went to the store to see it in person. I went to look at the betta, then instantly changed my mind about buying a fish from petsmart. First of all, they keep there fish in tiny cups, I know for a fact that betta need to be in at least a 1 gallon tank. All of the fish looked sick and sad, their very existence is just SAD. After doing some research, I found out that petsmart has killed 47 dogs, slammed a bag of hamsters against a table in effort to kill them, killed more than 50 animals in a makeshift gas machine, and crowds animals in cages. The way that these animals are treated is inhuman, and just terrible. Please, don't buy from petsmart, dont support these abusers.
