I called to get my dogs groomed and can we said rude as hell. I will never take my dogs back. If you’re having a bad day stay home. Life is too short to be aggravated

We took our pom into Petsmart today for grooming with specific instructions not to shave him. When we picked him up he was shaved down so far his stomach area is bloody and other areas are down to bare skin. I am furious. Do not take your pet to this butcher shop of a grooming facility.

Do not take your senior dog to a Petsmart grooming salon. Their groomers do not have the experience and in some cases are afraid to groom senior dogs.

I WILL NEVER RETURN!! I took my pomsky in for a cut. It was his first time ever at a groomers. The lady was rude and did not greet the dog she automatically just started pulling at him. Then he was scared and she never tried to calm him down. It’s the worse cut I have ever seen. The hair on his head was left long and the rest of the body bald. They are not equipped to take care of dogs that may be scared or have difficult hair to cut.

So I booked an appointment with PetsMart for my dog a month in advance because we were going to Jamaica on vacation. I booked it for 3-4 pm because I work and would simply have to leave early to make the appointment. 2 days before my appointment, the groomer that I booked called to reschedule for 2pm. Although this was inconvenient be you would lose half of a day’s pay, I was ok because we were leaving for vacation the next day. Well, on my way to the appointment, I was caught in traffic due to an accident. I called ahead to alert the groomer that I was in my way but would probably be 5-10 minutes late. She proceeded to tell me that I if I were any later that I should cancel because she decided to close at 4pm…even though I just explained my traffic situation. Side note…I had just started using their services again because they used to jack up my fur baby’s hair cut every month. Well, needless to say, I cancelled the appointment and I WILL NOT EVER return. I’ll just take my fur baby and his uncut fur to 100+ degree weather in Jamaica and find another groomer when we return. SMH, PetSmart must do better.

Only if you have the best behaved absolutely angelic dogs, pet smart might be able to actually take care of them. They are not equipped to handle rescue dogs with the tiniest amount of anxiety nor do they understand that some Dogs take longer to warm up to humans and this might stem from the fact that they were mistreated by humans 😡. I have 2 rescue dogs who have been to several groomers and day care but pet smart is never able to groom them, always giving some excuse and even charging us for a haircut once when all they did was bring out the scissors. To top it, very rude and non compassionate staff, they don’t really care about your pets just want your money. She had no sense of what rescue dogs are like and did not even try to warm up to my dog or try to offer her a treat but just called her aggressive. This was the Jackson I55 location and I’m never taking my dogs back there.

I went in to PetsMart to buy Arm and Hammer Tarter Control for dogs. The price was $13.99. The last time I bought it, the price was $9.99. THEY RAISED THE PRICE BY 40% IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS. I got it at Amazon for $3.70. PetsMart is so greedy they ran me off as a customer. I now get my Science Diet Dog Food for 20% less than PetsMart charges from my veterinarian. EVERYTHING AT PETSMART IS OVERPRICED. Tell your friends to buy from Walmart. That will save them a ton of money

Been getting my dog groomed for a year then I said something about the price of $96 for my miniature schnauzer. They refused to cut my dogs hair and told me to go somewhere else. Horrible service and prices.
