New store manager or assistant manager that replaced Whitney " Jay " is a terrible manager. The guy is absolutely incapable of answering the simplest pet-care questions and pawns off all the in store pet owner questions to his employees. Whitney had all the answers and was extremely knowledgeable. This guy sounds like the captain of a boat about to go on mutiny with his " all hands on deck ". The staff seems unhappy for the past few weeks and i can tell some of the employees are over-stressed and overworked. Seems like the kind of guy who takes himself way too seriously yet knows nothing about the product in his store. I will take my business somewhere else from now on.

Don't have Ana groom your pet especially if you are a POC. First red flag when she called 30 mins before our appt that made months ago asking if it was cancelled( most likely trying to squeeze someone in). Second, when we walked in she was at the cashier and didn't acknowledge or introduce herself to us. Third called us AFTER drop off to say she will have to shave our dog's hair9 due to matts. Fourth, we get another call now they can't do his nails. Fifth, went to pick up and the nerve to go on about previous groomers should had charged for dematting....uh what difference at this point? I replied" No, they didn't take the lazy route and brushed him and the vet is able to cut his nails with no issues. You took the lazy route and didn't give us what we wanted so why not demat and charge the 15.00? Also, we were charged a few because he moved too much for the nail clipping but, you indicated you couldn't do his nails. That's contradictory to the initial statement. I explained to her my dog is not bad (you will not give him that label) and she ended it with "maybe you need to take him back there". What???? So basically don't bring him back. I doubt corporations supports this statement. You are right with your bad attitude and being argumentative he won't ever be here so you can display your racism for someone else. Its crazy how I brush him a few times a week and specifically check for matts. She lied and knew we would dispute afterwards. Usually they feel them when you drop off. Yeah you right take him back where their solution is not to just shave him. Also, if he was so matted and fussy with his feet, how were you able to shave all his hair including his feet. Hmmmmm.

I boycot all petsmarts due to there no return policy on fish adding to our invasive species problem in our waterways petco offers returns to help with this issue.

I will never shop at the PetSmart at the Machesney Park, IL location. The two Managers, I didn't get their names, but they are males, are the rudest people I have ever encountered, not to mention they wouldn't price match, they said they only price match stores that you can physically walk in to! Which isn't true, after searching their site. Not to mention, I have four dogs, a cat, two parakeets, a snake, 3 Geckos, a tarantula, and a scorpion, so you can imagine how much business they were getting from me. Everytime I have gone in there, either male manager, was absolutely rude, I will never shop there again!! I went to Petco in Rockford IL and the gentleman there, his name is Matt, price matched my purchase, and was absolutely helpful, what a gentleman, I told him, "You have my business from NOW ON" If you want to be treated like a human being, go to Petco in Rockford, IL. It's out of my way, but I will travel an extra 6 miles to be treated respectfully. PetSmart lost my business.

thing a year ago I got a hamster named Tiffany and we didn't have her like for 4 weeks and we were doing everything right and one night I was going to bed and I opened her case to check on her and she was dying and then a few minutes later she died so either she had something wrong with her or they did something to her 1 * star

It's disappointing that their store prices aren't the same as their online prices. I should be able to go into the store and get the same price unless they say it's an online special event. I don't always have time to look online and check the prices in the store. I don't know if they would honor their online price

Last week we called Petsmart in Denver an paid for an order for prescription cat food. We had the prescription and sent it to them. They said it would be 3 days. We called after 3 days and were told it would be 5 days. Today we called and were told it would be 7 days. The reason we called in for a pickup order was to avoid the lines in the store, where it seems they never can open another checkout line. Last time I deal with this store.

I just been inside of pets smart in Savannah Georgia and I wish I didn’t. My grand father whom Is a judge of Savannah Ga ask me to go find him some Angel fish. The employee ask me the size of the tank and I told her the size of the tank which is a very large tank. She refuses to sale me the fish. I ask to speak to the manager whom was very very racist and very disrespectful told me she suggested that I take my money else where. As I’m walking out of the door the manger who refuses to give me her name, called me black conk. I will be filing a lawsuit against the store for racism. I have been shopping at that store since the store first opened. Never experienced such hatred in my life. The manager was very disrespectful and I’m sure you will be hearing from my attorney.
