I had a terrible experience at the PetSmart in London, Ontario on Fanshawe Park Road. I brought my puppy into the store, looking for some food suggestions. Not one employee greeted us or asked if we needed any assistance. Also, this is a pet store, not one person acknowledged us and our new puppy. I find this very disappointing. I would not recommend this store nor would I return.

This review is for the Port Jeff location in NY. I am extremely disappointed. Our pet had an appointment booked at least a month in advance. I woke up to a voice mail from Amanda letting me know that the groomer we selected, Julia wasn’t coming in today. She didn’t offer to groom my dog today herself, as the manager, or suggest another groomer to take care of our dog. She pushed my appointment an entire week out to a time and date that doesn’t work well for us. If you’re going to do that, at least work with us on a time. You so easily cancelled our appointment, I guess no one else’s appointment can be moved around as well? I understand things happen but this isn’t right. So because I selected Julia we don’t get an appointment at all? We had to call back and only then did she offer a small discount. I don’t like the way Amanda treated us and acted like our time isn’t important. She needs further training if this is the so called manager you have on staff. I want a reply back from management.

My vet gave me a prescription for dog food for digestive issues . I handed it to the checkout clerk she entered the information on the register and told me I wouldn’t need to bring it again it was in the system. 3 weeks later I was back went to checkout and different cashier said I needed a prescription from the Banfield clinic on site . I told her it was in the system she wouldn’t pull my phone number up so I had to go to Banfield with my original prescription in hand because I kept it just in case and after waiting for a busy receptionist to finally take my prescription print up a card from Banfield and hand it and my prescription back to me . The cashier entered the information again and 3 weeks later I came back and a different cashier asked for my phone number and said yes there’s your prescription and away I went . Yesterday I went in and a new cashier said you need a card from Banfield. I said input my number you will see it on the system. She refused and called her manager . He said I had to have the card every time I came in and also refused to enter my number .I had at least $200 worth of items and had shopped there for years . Since I didn’t have my original prescription with me as I hadn’t needed it the last time I asked the manager how Banfield was supposed to write one for a dog they had never seen . Thats against FL law . By the way Petsmart owns Banfield. The day I waited yo get the Banfield card the receptionist shook her head and said it was a petsmart policy that they thought they could use yo force people to use Banfield if they wanted the food . I asked if there was a charge for copying my original vet authored prescription to a Banfield card and she said no it would be against the law to write a prescription for a dog they didn’t see . All the bad reviews I’ve read on here are stunning . I have never seen the same people working in the store twice and I’m in there every 3 weeks . I never will again . The company also is putting a new clinic in a shopping center even closer to me but in the process they forced my vet of 27 years out of his office in the same shopping center before they would sign a lease . He had been in that office 29 years . I won’t be going to that clinic either . I’ve already found a new vet . Petsmart is a prime example of the corporate greed we live with everyday .

I took my dog to the Augusta, ME PetSmart to have him bathed, groomed and brushed out. He is a 190lb St. Bernard and he gets hot spots if he doesn't have the right shampoos and is not dried properly. When I made the appointment I told them that; I called ahead and told them that; and, I told them that when I left him off. When I picked him up it was 14 degrees out and the wind was howling. When I got him home I found he was soaked and things like his ears were filthy! Now I will be stuck with vet bills as he gets hot spots!! This store is TERRIBLE and could care less about pets. DON"T GO THERE!!

I rented a carpet cleaning vacuum cleaner from the store located in Fremont Hub in Fremont California on 16th Jan, 2022 and returned it back prior to the 24 hour period of rental on 17th Jan evening. I carried the receipt to the cashier to get the deposit back for the rental. He gave me a gift card for the deposit and cited that I did not carry the transaction receipt and just the rental agreement receipt. I had the other receipt in my car, but before I could do anything, the gift card was issued. I came back with the receipt from my car and asked the cashier to reverse the transaction after standing in the cash-register's queue again. He refused and did not take the gift card back and also refused to credit the rental deposit back. Weird staff and very rude behavior and I was forced to get a gift card, although I have no pets to make any other purchases at the store.

Absolutely worst place to get things .. I paid 16.00$ for 100 crickets for my bearded dragon and the were all dead in 3 days before he could eat them.. when I get them from the jungle in Florence ms they last much much longer And the are WAY cheaper

Ordered my dogs food online and went pick it up at the store. They said I could not pick it up until it was processed which could take up to 10 days. But the took the money out of my checking instantly. Been 4 days still not processed…. I will never use petdumb again

The experience for grooming service was horrible. The attendant showed no patience with my pet. I had to return to the salon because they did not clean his ears, trim his coat or file his nails. There was no patience for my anxious pet. I got concerned when the attendant stated my pet vomited. Why? Did they hold his collar too tight? He had a scratch on the inside of his leg. His nails were not trimmed correctly. I should not feel sharp scratches when my pet touch my arm. Where is the patience for anxious pets? There was no clean smell or grooming scarf. I did not receive the service for the price.
