Product did not work on my dog after waiting almost a month for the product

I order my food in cases. They send boxes that are very heavy and hard to deal with getting in the house. Often cans are dented because the packages are difficult for the carriers to handle. The prices are good and it is convenient not to go to the store.

The company and website seems well put together. However, was disappointed that the prescription dog food was advertised as being in stock, which it was not. Especially when your dog has medical issues and running out of food is not good. I also ordered an additional item, which was delivered. But no prescription dog food and no email with an explanation. It wasn't until I contact Petflow that I was advised the food was on backorder.

Switched to PetFlow a few years back after Chewy was acquired by one of the big box retailers. They carried the special food which our lab had been on for years and which the manufacturer had pulled from Chewy due to the acquisition. We were also happy to support the smaller company. The customer service (by phone and online) was, and largely remains, great. Now, a few years later, we're having to really consider leaving PetFlow for an unfortunate reason: they're not able to reliably supply the new prescription food our dog requires. As many know, PetFlow doesn't warehouse all of its products. Some are drop shipped from a manufacturer when ordered through PetFlow.com. So, this probably (but not definitely) isn't PetFlow's fault. But, the big box retailers seem to be supplied more reliably with the food we need than PetFlow is. Can't take a chance of not having the necessary food for senior dog so we're kind of forced to make a change we wouldn't otherwise want to make at all.

It was difficult to find the size and type of food needed. It took too long to get to the destination

I really like PetFlow. The website is easy and helpful, the range of products is great and so are the prices. The first time I ordered, my items came within 2 or 3 days--I was so impressed! Unfortunately, my second order is taking MUCH longer. I was expecting a short turnaround time as before, but it's taking so long I had to go to the pet store to get food to tide my puppy over. Which I've been trying to avoid during the pandemic. Next order will tell whether my review goes back up to 5 stars--and whether I'll be using PetFlow in the future.

Some issues getting prescription verified. I have the prescription via email from vet and no option to upload. Half the cans in case were dented.
