I have been using PetFlow for a number of years to order cat food. I discovered early on that it was not a good idea to order dry food or litter, since I had a couple of experiences of the bags tearing or opening and spilling out in the boxes. I order only canned cat food, which has worked pretty well. I have had a couple of instances of the cans being damaged to the degree that I could not open them, but mostly the cans are intact or if bent, they are only slightly dented. PetFlow has replaced cans that were not usable. The shipments come quickly, and I like the free shipping. Because of my cat’s changing needs, I sometimes have to change the frequency of the order, and I find the PetFlow website quite user unfriendly. It always takes me an inordinate amount of time to do what I need to do on the site. It is not set up to be intuitive. I have had good service overall, although the service is not trouble-free.

My first order The Royal Canin mother and baby were out of stock so there was a delay as it came from your New Jersey warehouse instead of the close by ones. When asked to exchange for the next stage R C KITTEN ( same price) upon receipt was not honored. The staff offered 15% instead of the first order percentage after I explained to him the situation and have been inconvenienced to drive to the stores to get them. The request of changes was also informed before shipping date.

I am using PetFlow for a specific dog food . I would like to auto ship but it doesn’t meet the cost by a couple dollars for free shipping. My hope is autoship foods have free shipping.

Customer service is good, communication is lacking. Lately, when I have been trying to order prescription food for my cat, I am able to order the item, only to receive no shipping notice or any communication regarding my order. Then, when I email a week later to ask why I haven't received any notifications, I get a response from customer service saying that it hasn't shipped because they are having trouble receiving the product from the manufacturer. This has happened more than once now, and my cat needs prescription food to help with her kidneys. If you don't have the product in stock, please mark it as out of stock on the website. Failing that, it would be great to get an automatic email stating that orders may be delayed due to manufacturer issues. I have a chronic illness that leaves me virtually housebound, so not being able to rely on Petflow to receive the items I order (or even communication stating that I may need to go out and get the food from another vendor) for my elderly cat is concerning.

I thought my 2 girls would go after that food considering the price. Nope. It's just okay.

I was disappointed it to a week to receive my order.

Well I am overall pleased with Petflow but they do have areas of improvements and this is the main reason for the 3 star rating. The shipping time is a bit longer than expected. Would I recommend them yes they have great value and variety. Plus top quality products.

The service is usually good, and the product I buy is great, but although I have not changed my name on my profile or altered any of my information in any way, a single shipment to my sister-in-law's address now has all email messages showing her name. The system is obviously flawed if a single shipment causes a company to be incapable of accurately addressing their customer...
