Not only was the wrong food sent, but the price goes UP!
The first order was great, the second was more expensive.
The next even more expensive! Then the next one was the wrong food! I contacted you to complain about the wrong food.
You had me write a letter and send the USP code fr the bag.
You told me that you would send me a new bag, of the correct food, but you didn't do that.
My next two orders were the right food, but each order goes up in price! Do I like Petflo? I think not!

Petflow? No go.
I have to admit, if you needed any reason to dislike and avoid automated payment and shipping of things, this is certainly the organization that will give it to you. I had started to think auto pay and ship was safe and I was being a Luddite by not embracing it more. Yeah, well, so much for all that.
Now, let me preface that with this: I use Subscribe & Save with Amazon, a company I respect. While I was on the phone with their customer dis-service agent, I failed to mention that. I think the reason it didn't come up is because Amazon's S&S works FLAWLESSLY. It does what you expect with little fanfare. Do you understand what I'm saying? Let me say it again, just in case: it works FLAWLESSLY.
I normally flat out refuse to allow someone to have access to my credit card for things like this because of double billing and all the horror stories you hear about with automated payments. AllState is the other company I allow to do it because it saves me money on insurance but, to be sure, I don't entirely trust them either. So far, they've not taken anything other than what they are owed. Amazon's S&S system works like you expect it would. You make a selection; you set it up; they take your money; you get your item; you get emails the week prior saying they will be shipping soon and to make changes if you need to do so; you get an email saying your items have shipped. I have made changes sometimes when I didn't run out of something when I expected to and my subscribed items (four different ones) come every month and there's not been one problem yet with the payments and the shipping
I mention all that because Petflow.com's system is beyond ridiculous. What occurs with Petflow is not at all like what happens with Amazon. You get exactly one email from this organization and it's to let you know that what you ordered has shipped. That's it. I triple-checked my Outlook and Gmail for every Petflow email I've received and that was all I found. I made my first order with them in December so I have 22 emails from them total.
My cat was recently diagnosed with CKD (chronic kidney disease) which is odd because she is a three year-old indoor cat with no major health issues to speak of since we purchased her three years ago. Her appetite, which anyone who is familiar with CKD can attest to, can wax and wane like the moon. When an animal has this disease, one manifestation of it is in reduced hunger to downright refusal to eat. She is very small (five pounds) and, like many cats, fairly picky about food. My cat was near death at the end of December and I had NO idea if the food I purchased then would even be needed in January. The daily medications and subQ (subcutaneous fluids) treatments had not yet been proven effective and the veterinarian was quick to warn us that these were no guarantee against our cat's mortality. If this was the outlook, why on earth would I set up a recurring order for something that a) the cat had never even eaten and b) I may not have had a use for because of the cat's death?! What we discovered was that the cat was, in fact, recovering and was, consequently, ravenous and ate the food in month, which told me that she may survive and that she liked the food. I ordered the food again and, with little hesitation because I felt the cat was on the upswing, set up a recurring order since I couldn't get this particular renal food at all locally. The food arrived and that was it or so I thought. When I finally realized that they were really sending me 24 cans of the same food, I called them.
The individual I spoke AT (because he certainly wasn't trying to listen to me) seemed more interested in implying that whatever occurred was my own fault at the time of ordering in December. He also routinely spoke over me as the call was nearing an end. While he touted his company's ability to get people the pet items they need quickly and without hassle he failed to realize that if the system is flawed, then speed is useless. They speedily sent out to me something I did not order and charged me for the privilege. The system somehow set up a recurring order for an item I already ordered and had been delivered. The agent I spoke with also tried to turn the situation into some great feature that I was just too uncool to understand. You see, I had MORE cat food than I needed, yes, but I also could just skip the next shipment and relax knowing that the food I didn't order was right there. Well, under that logic, why stop at one extra shipment? Why not send me several cases to last me the year!
Just imagine if they did this with other items you order. "Mr. Smith, I know we sent you an extra television and charged your credit card for it. But look at this way: you have an extra TV for when you need one in 15 years!"
Amazon's system lets you know on the page of an item that you're subscribed to it and when it was last delivered to you. Their system doesn't even begin to do anything of the sort. And when I did have a problem once with a box of cereal in a pack having been open already upon arrival, I called Amazon and they apologized and credited me for the order, the agent being polite the whole time. They didn't ask me to send it back at my expense nor did they try to turn the problem into a benefit that I had overlooked. "Pre-opened cereal is the wave of the future, Mr. Smith! It's already stale so no more pesky waiting!"
I'm not a CPA but I run my budget tightly and use Quicken to oversee my finances. I do NOT appreciate getting charged for something I didn't order and didn't need. What I thought would happen is I'd get a something to print out to slap on the box so I could send them back their food. But instead I get talked over, made to feel stupid and dismissed like a child who doesn't understand grown-up, sophisticated things like ordering cat food online.

Service needs to improve
I ordered a 30 LB bag of Jonny cat multi cat cat litter but instead of a 30 Lb bag of that brand being shipped a 10 Lb bag came instead. I called customer service informing them about the misship an they noted it an sent out what was supposed to be the 30 Lb bag, instead the same 10 Lb bag was shipped. I called customer service again letting them know that the same misship happened again an they said a 30 Lb bag was shipped, I told them no it wasn't. They had me read the upc code off an it was the same code they have on file which acording to them was the larger size. I told them how can that be when the bigger size has a different upc code, they couldn't figure that out but wanted me to send the upc code to them an a picture of the bag showing them what was shipped basicly calling me a liar. The rep said they don't carry 10 Lb bags of that brand so I told them it came from their wherehouse but still insisted me to send code an picture to them for further investigation before a refund or exchange could be made. I even offered to ship the bag back to them so they could see for themselfs but they insisted it was cheaper to send upc code an picture to them. The company needs to verify what codes go with what products an the products they carry in the wherehouse an check for wrong items that could of got misshipped from the company they ordered from or possible customers sending wrong items back before they ship anything out to customers who place orders with them. I won't be ordering from them again since this was the 2nd time product was wrong, not looking to wait a week for a 3rd replacement an another misship happening again. To new customers ordering from this company watch what you order an verify whats shipped cause they can send misships to you to

Terrible service
I am very, very unhappy with their service. I have written to them repeatedly. Finally I got received an answer from some kid who wrote to me and addressed me as 'Hey'.
There are some serious problems with the way they conduct business. They should contact their customers when they complain for starters.
