Did not honor customer service pledge and takes no reaponsibility for their products.
The 27 lb. bag of dog food I ordered arrive quickly, but unfortunately, it had spoiled in transport. I knew immediately when I opened the bag that it was bad because it smelled terrible. Against my better judgment and because I was low on dog food, I fed some to my dog. He ate about half of the bowl then refused to eat any more. Later, he was sick and vomited what he had eaten. When I called petflow.com to request a refund for the spoiled bag of food, the rep informed me that "the dog food isn't our responsibility sice we get it from the manufacturer". Even though they sold me the dog food and gladly took my money, they refused to do anything to make the situation right and suggested that I contact the manufacturer for a coupon. Oh, and he recommended that since I didn't "like" the dog food, I could donate it to a local shelter. I really resent the inference that I was trying to get a refund simply because I changed my mind. The bag of dog food from petflow.com was spoiled, unfit for any animal to eat and the company shirked all responsibility for their product or customer service pledge. Bottom line -- buy your dog food from a trusted, reputable, local dealer who will stand behind what they sell
