If you're gauging when and how often you need to order pet food, it is very difficult to do so with Petflow. Sometimes, an order can be processed and shipped within a couple of days, landing at your doorstep within 4-7 days. Sometimes, as with my most recent shipment and others I've placed in the past, it takes them a full 6 days to ship the items out, and another 3-7 days after that for the shipment to arrive. This last order is supposed to be here tomorrow, which is a full 2 weeks from the order date. If you feed a type of food not easily found locally, this can prove to be very problematic.

They sent me the wrong type of cat food, so I emailed customer service. Very speedy reply and they went ahead and sent the correct item and gave me a return postage link for returning the wrong product. Though it is worth noting that it took me 10 business days to get the item that I ordered because of their mistake. Not sure I will chance buying food from them again.

Gave PetFlow a try as they had an incredible coupon for the prescription food my cat requires. Ran into some website trouble processing my order so got on the phone with a rep who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and got the order processed on 2/20/14. Received my non-prescription items promptly (shipped 2/21/14), but called in on 3/3/14 to see the hold up on my prescription food. Again, another super friendly rep confirmed that the prescription was verified on 2/28/14 & shipment should go out asap. Here we are 3/4/14 and it's not shipped yet and I'm running low & had to buy some food at full retail at the vet! :( I was expecting some delay with my first order, but didn't think it would be this long esp. after confirming that all is good to ship.

I think the bargains are remarkable, but having to buy a certain amount in dollars is not clear until checkout. Also, I placed a order two weeks ago or more, and when I checked on it recently, I was told that it hadn't even been picked up for shipment. The order had to be placed again, and I still don't have it. When I requested that some small items be added, I was told it couldn't be done. I also offered to pay the shipping on a small order, and that was also denied. All the phone reps have been congenial and accommodating, however.

First time I ordered a bag of dog food the bag had a huge slash across the back, half the food dumped out into the box. They did send a replacement without charge. Second time I ordered bargain treats, one of the treat bags bottom was open. They were Merrick jerky treats pack of 12 only had 8 in there. This last time I ordered everything was accounted for just took 7 days to get here, all my orders take a bit of time to get to me. By getting charged sales tax that tells me they have a warehouse in my state. I didn't get an email until 2 days after my order that it was getting shipped out. Didn't get shipped out until the 3rd day. They do have good prices in some of the treats.

I ordered 50 plain cow ears and received 2 bags of 25 - white dried cow ears that my dog enjoyed each and every day! I place a second order but was very disappointed...upon receipt of 2 bags of 25 each - the total white dried cow ears in the first bag was 8. The rest of the cow ears are brown and greasy and my dog HATES them. I will not order from petflow again - I'll pay the higher price in the stores to get what I ask for.

My Tuxedo cat has gained too much weight , and he is BIG. I have tried other dry cat foods that are for the large cat . The first one was so long ago, I think it worked but I honestly don't remember . The current brand I just purchased was Science Diet & it might work ; Will have to wait several weeks to see if there is some results . One thing that does bother me is that in the ad for The Science Diet Cat Food , I don't recall seeing anything regarding the ingredients . What it does have or doesn't have . I should have caught it, but I didn't . The ingredient list includes in the first five~is corn & wheat. I didn't read past that, I was a bit shocked, & I was mad at myself & at the online pet supply company . It seems that someone should have put in an ad or comment . The cat food bag has already been opened & the weight of it to ship back would be too much . Not sure if I will buy this brand or from this online pet food supply again . One last comment, I am glad that the cat food was shipped to my door . Thank you

To early for up sell attempt, especially when couldn't deliver full product on time. Also now I get way too many emails from you.
