PetflowReviews of petflow.com

PetFlow's prices compare well to those of other pet supply sites (I've visited/used quite a few), and their shipping rates are lower. That's the good news. The bad news: they use deceptive advertising practices to gain your business. Ex: every special promotional ad that states "free shipping!" is in fact referring to their standard shipping policy, while they write it to sound like that particular promotion includes free shipping on all orders. It doesn't become apparent until either calling to clarify, or at check-out. Beware this flawed tactic...otherwise they get a woof.

I like the prices. I like the products I chose. I like the selection. I can do without the incessant emails after purchase, however.

When my shipment arrived, the box was a wreck. It seemed weak, and had been taped up all over it, as if it were damaged in transit, perhaps by the carrier. Although the box was badly damaged, the product was not. The dogg food I ordered was just fine. I guess I would say that either this was a unique situation and the box got damaged accidently, or a heaver grade of cardbaord would be better in the future. With as much damage as there was to the box, I was surprised the bags of food were not damaged. That was my experieince. Thanks.

The shipping box must not have been fitted properly for the two heavy bags of cat food (11 lb and 15lb) because the shipment arrived in a postal service bag with my order loose inside (the two bags of cat food and small bag of treats). It appears a lucky break that the cat food bags didn't break open. If Petflow didn't size the box just right, and the catfood was able to shift inside the box, I can understand why the box would fall apart during shipping.

It's made with a great material, but it doesn't stay in place.

Too slow, too chatty.

I have shared with PetFlow that their shipping boxes are inadequately taped. I've even sent pictures of the shape they are in upon arrival, all to no avail. UPS had to add further tape to the last shipment or there would have just been a dilapidated box to deliver with no bags of dog food in it. Otherwise the quality of the products & services are good.

I ORDERED BIO SPOT FOR A DOG AND YOU SENT ME BIO SPOT FOR CATS I CALLED BUT HAVE NOT SEEN MY RIGHT PRODUCT YET AS YOU SAID I WOULD. I PROBABLY WILL HAVE TO CALL AGAIN. NOT HAPPY!
