PetflowReviews of petflow.com

Petflow carries a good selection of the higher grade / higher priced / higher quality dog food made. They carry most of the 5 star rated foods per dog food advisors. High quality grain free foods, raw coated foods and raw added to food and excellent raw treats and suppliments of all kinds. I can't state enough how much a grain free diet with a little raw nuggets used as a topper on the food or as a treat will improve your dogs health especially the coat and digestion. Not to mention they will love you for the raw. * Keep in mind raw nuggets are high in protein so that must be figured in with your food and treat amounts of protein. Over all they carry products for all life stages and the problems that go with them. My only concern is their is one product my dogs love and have eaten for a couple of years Petflow does not carry. I wrote a few weeks ago requesting they get this line of functional chews and recieved no reply to my letter of any kind that they had recieved my request, they would try to get it, nothing what so ever. So this did not make me very happy. When a company asks you to write and I get no reply I am not a happy camper. Now I am faced with buying some of my products from PetFlow and having to go to another vendor to buy the others. Or just buy all from another vendor completely because this is a product I can't and won't eliminate from my pets diet as I stated in my request.

I love this company & appreciate the discounts on the snacks and chews in particular. I love their products that I have purchased so far. This last time I ordered - my order did not turn out as I hoped. My confirmation invoice showed I ordered a couple of chewies at 8 & 12" long, but received 4-5" & 6" product. I was chargedfor what at I received however. Just misleading & I didn't get what I really wanted!

I am a little disappointed as I have not received my order that was placed on June 18th. Also, I have not received any kind of update as to the status of my order. I like ordering from the site and most times the prices are good, but it would be nice to be updated. I ordered cat food with the intent of feeding it to my cats, but I ran out of their old food and had to buy another bag as I have not received my order yet.

The product is awesome and I recieved it just a couple days after I ordered it. But it was advertised with free shipping but I couldn't complete my order without agreeing to pay for the shipping. I called customer service the next day and they said they didn't know anything about free shipping and it was too late because it was already processed. When I went back on my FB the next day it was advertised again with free shipping. So just saying, you might want to check into that.

I love the selection of products and the prices are often very good, but my last order took 10 days to leave their warehouse and another 5 to get to my door. Far too long to wait - would rather buy elsewhere for faster service.

It is often difficult to change an auto-order. I have to then make a phone call, so the convenience is gone. To cancel an auto-order, you are directed to make a phone call. Again, inconvenient. The website encourages auto-orders, so I signed up for them initially because of the promise of locked-in prices. This was a false claim.

The experience was very good. But I did a price comparison and I could have gotten the same product for 30 cents less a can. Also, I can mix and match at my local place, and with PetFlow, I have to get a case of the same thing. Overall, they were very easy and delivered very promptly. If I was a cyberspace junkie that never left my home, they would totally be it. I like to interact with my favorite Earthlings. And if I get that special yearning to grab a bag of pig ears for my babies, well, there you go!.

The website is NOT friendly for changing items set up for automatic delivery. Also, want to cancel a delivery? Impossible to do on the website...a message pips up telling me I need to call. That, combined with how some products can be found cheaper elsewhere make it so I want to cancel. However, customer service for exchanges is EXCELLENT, and all my cat's favorite foods are at this site in the sizes I like.
