I have had TERRIBLE problems with your services. I spoke with MIKE several times about being unable to get in my account.
The last time we spoke I told Mike to CLOSE my account.

I paid for 26 lb
I paid for 26 lb. of Nutrisource dog food and only received 12 lb. I sent a copy of my receipt showing you only delivered 12 lb. Either give me credit or send me the balance of my order. This has been a bad experience...

Issues with Rx food and lack of communication
The disconnect when a prescription for food expires needs some improvement. The communication is almost nonexistent when it expires, so I have now had TWO orders canceled with no notification or explanation. I have tried to send the new script over with no response or anything. Am extremely frustrated with the process.
Response from PetflowJul 22, 2026
We are truly sorry for the frustration this has caused. Having two orders canceled without any notification or explanation is not acceptable, and we completely understand how stressful that is when your pet depends on prescription food. The communication around expiring prescriptions is something we know needs improvement and your feedback is valuable in helping us get there. Please reach out to us via chat, text, or email so we can look into your account and help get your prescription sorted as quickly as possible.

well that was the WORST online ordering…
well that was the WORST online ordering ORDEAL i have ever dealt with! First they can't locate my email, so i go to setup a new acct, only to then have it tell me my email already exists, so i click back on sign in and do a 'forgot my password' option, so set that up, go to sign in, AGAIN!? can't locate my acct/email?? I finally had to order without signing in at all, only to then have it not process my paypal pymt for a one-time order....so had to do that THREE times before it finally went thru even tho my credit card already showed a pending charge on the first attempt! If cat food I ordered works out, I'll have to look for another online shop that sells it, because this was just an INSANE waste of time!

Thank you for taking the time to share this, and I am so sorry for the frustration. That is not the experience we want for any pet parent, and what you described, the account not being found, the password reset failing, and the PayPal charge needing multiple attempts, is something we want to dig into right away.
Please email us at [email protected] and reference this review so we can locate your account and take a closer look at what happened on our end. We want to make sure your order is in good shape and that nothing is lingering on your card from those earlier attempts.

I've been a customer of PetFlow's for…
I've been a customer of PetFlow's for at least a year and use their autoshipping for dog food delivery. A recent autoship arrived of Fromm's Weight Management 17.5 lb bag of dog food. My pup was in the hospital last week with pancreatitis and kidney failure. I learned from the vet that she would need a prescription diet for her condition. I contacted PetFlow to initiate a return and was told that they no longer accept returns since August 2025. I searched my emails from PetFlow from last summer and never received any correspondance regarding the new policy. Had I known this, I would have stopped using PetFlow and gone with another online pet supply company like Chewy, PetSmart or Pet Line Express that all have return policies.
When I asked if I could return the unopened package, I was told no. When I asked if PetFlow would be willing to make an exchange of the Fromm's dog food that my dog no longer is able to eat for the Hill's prescription food that the vet prescribed her, and pay the difference of $48 so that it wouldn't be a total loss, Michael the Customer Representative, responded no. He said that returns had been "abused" and that was why PetFlow made the decision of a no-return policy that they quietly posted on their website, yet didn't inform customers about. That's just the cost of doing online, pet product/food business. If you a large online presence/store that sells everything from pet food, to toys, to medications, you need to have a return policy. If it was being "abused", sounds like PetFlow was making poor choices with accepting abusive/ridiculous returns. What a victimized position to take when doing business with the masses.
I would strongly recommend ordering through Chewy as they are flexible, have a solid return policy and don't take a victimized position when it comes to returns. I will be spreading the word not to ever use PetFlow because of their "no-return" policy.

Thank you for taking the time to share this, and I am so sorry to hear about your pup. Pancreatitis and kidney failure are frightening diagnoses, and a sudden shift to a prescription diet on top of a hospital stay is the last thing any pet parent should have to manage.
You are right that our return policy changed in August 2025, and it is clear from your experience that the communication around that change did not land the way it should have. That is on us, and I am sorry. Feedback like yours is exactly what our leadership needs to hear, and I will be passing your experience up to our executive team directly.
I know that does not undo what you are going through right now, and I understand your decision to take your business elsewhere. I genuinely appreciate you giving us a year of your trust, and I am sorry we did not meet you better in this moment.
Wishing your pup a steady recovery.

DO NOT use pet flow
DO NOT use pet flow. Please use Chewy I had a bag of food delivered a day before my cat passed away and Petflow would not make an exception for a return or offer a donation with a refund. Chewy honors their customers, especially during times of such hardship. Petflow is strictly money driven and does not care about their customers

We are so deeply sorry for the loss of your cat. Losing a pet is heartbreaking, and we genuinely wish we could have done more for you during such a difficult time. We understand how painful it must have felt to be in that situation and we are sorry our policy left you feeling unsupported. While we are not able to accept returns or issue refunds on food orders, we never want any pet parent to walk away feeling like we don't care, because we truly do. We hope you and your family are finding some comfort during this time.

Terrible customer service after years as customer.
I have been a Peflow customer for years. I changed my autoship delivery date on my online account on 3/19 to be delivered on a later date. However, my credit card was charged just after midnight on 2/24 and I awoke to emails that it was already shipped on the original date. I NEVER received an email stating that they were preparing my order for shipment and I could review my order. Customer service, which, is only available by chat, was completely unhelpful. They verified that I never received an email to review my delivery. They also said that since I changed the delivery date within a week of scheduled delivery, the system couldn’t or didn’t process it appropriately. Since I wouldn’t be home, their solution, was for me to haul the 30 pound package back to FedEx to refuse the delivery. This is not easy because of physical challenges. The company made the mistakes, but I am the one to pay for them. I am so displeased, I cancelled my Petflow account.
Response from PetflowApr 29, 2026
We are truly sorry for this experience and we completely understand your frustration. You made a change to your account in good faith and our system did not process it the way it should have. That is not acceptable, and asking you to haul a 30 pound package to FedEx was not a reasonable solution, especially given the physical challenges you mentioned. We hear you, and we are sorry we were not able to do better for you after years of being a customer. We appreciate you sharing this feedback as it helps us improve, and we are sorry we were not able to make it right before you made the decision to cancel.
