Two weeks ago I ordered medicine for my two cats. Web site or reply email said it would ship in two days and add two days if a prescription was needed. It didn't ship for over a week and then it is ground shipping!!! Nothing takes two weeks to get to anyone unless it is a giant box. This is medicine. Not happy and wish I knew about this delay initially. Would never have ordered it on Petflow. I have used Petflow in the past for food an it has been wonderful, but working with their Medication company (I don't have the name infront of me) is not worth the wait if you need it ASAP. Like you do for most medication.

I have ordered from Petflow in the past and have been very satisfied with the packing of the products I ordered and getting them to my front door uneventfully. Well---I ordered a bag of dog food and a bully horn. When it was delivered, the box was opened with a piece of tape across it (which didn't keep it closed) and there was not Petflow tape across it. It was a plan cardboard box. Apparently, FedEx damaged the other box and just put the bag of food in the box and nothing else---no bully horn or packing list. I called Petflow, and they sent me a replacement bully horn. I don't blame Petflow at all---I think it was FedEx.

I ordered a door mat and large beef tendons. When I received my order the mat was great just what I was looking for and the beef tendons were actually turkey feet (disgusting). I called customer service to ask why I received turkey feet and she explained the tendon were on backorder. I didn't get an email asking if I wanted turkey feet or a refund. The tendons were still on backorder and I said I didn't mind waiting. I receive an email a couple weeks later saying my replacement order with the tendons was shipped. I receive the box to find more turkey feet. Is there someone that doesn't understand the difference between turkey feet and beef tendons? I called again and the man said weird I don't know how that happened. The beef tendons are still on backorder. I asked for my money to be refunded and will not be purchasing anything from petflow.com again.

This was my 2nd order for prescription cat food. My 1st shipment went off without a hitch, so I was quite surprised to have such a challenging experience with my 2nd order. After having my vet fax a prescription change that was approved, my order didn't get shipped. I called a week later to find out the status of my order because I was running dangerously low on food. I was told that the order was being held for some question, but was never contacted about that question. My order didn't ship for over a week. I thought that having the home delivery of prescription cat food would be more convenient than having to make a trip to the vet each month and that the slightly higher cost would be worth it. I'm not so sure anymore.

I do love PetFlow's prices, and there are lots of opportunities for bargains. However, the reason I don't usually purchase foods and meds from them is that my vet said he could not trust that meds had been kept cold, and that expiration dates are adhered to. He said he had patients who had purchased expired meds from PetFlow. The last thing I got were Greenies pill pockets (for under $4 each... usually $9-$12 locally), which I needed for two dogs (daily pills). They arrived within a week, but I was abit surprised that the 3 pkgs looked a bit swollen. Our dogs have developed a bacterial infection, which we attribute to their having gotten into the compost liquor out back, but it could have been from the Greenies: not sure. Oh, well.

I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE LAST PURCHASE BECAUSE THEY DID NOT APPLY THE DISCOUNT. I DON'T THINK I WILL PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN UNLESS THEY MAKE GOOD ON THE DISCOUNT. I WOULD APPRECIATE A EMAIL BACK FROM THEM. THANKS, BOB ROSSI

first, the website was glitchy. i wanted 35 items of one product and it wouldn't let me enter 35, I had to keep adding, 35 times.{ not my computer problem, i have a new mac} Second, when I got my order, there was only 34 of that item. I did not call to complain so I don't know how there customer service is.
