Couldn't get prescription verified. Delayed over a week - cancelled order
PetFlow uses "VetSource" to verify prescriptions. VetSource will send you emails claiming they are trying to get ahold of your vet to verify the prescription but "they haven't been able to yet. You may want to contact your vet." It appears VetSource really wants the customer to do the legwork on the prescription - which I finally did and got a written hardcopy prescription. When I asked PetFlow what email I can send it to they said I had to send it by U.S. Mail. Huh? Since a week had already passed and I was not close to running out of food, I said no thanks, I'll cancel and order elsewhere (Chewy.com is very fast and prompt and doesn't have these prescription hassles.) I couldn't find a place to cancel my order at the website so I used their Chat service. After the rep said the order had been cancelled I asked if an email confirming that was going to be sent. The reply was that "they don't do that" but I could check back in a few hours to verify the cancellation. All in all, not a customer-oriented experience. PetFlow needs to update their processes and systems to be competitive.
