DOT date code my tires…
According to the DOT date code my tires were 2yrs 1 month old. What happened to the supply chain excuse? They were also deformed and very difficult to inflate. Customer service acknowledged that the tire deformation was normal and offered suggestions to overcome it. I was able to mount and inflate the tires but based on the time involved, I should have purchased the wheel /tire combo. Shop elsewhere. FYI If a customer calls and complains about the quality of your product, don't send them a review request.

Tires are generally considered "new" and suitable for retail sale for up to 5 years from the production date, provided they have been stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. which the ones you purchased were. Many importers strap these tires together tightly for shipment and we do end up with misshapen tires at times. In our retail stores, it's not a problem as we have professional equipment suited for installing them on rims, but for private consumers self-installing, this can sometime present an issue. Unfortunately we have no way to know whether a customer intends to have them installed professionally or do it themselves. It is always our recommendation to have them installed professionally. We have reached out to the customer privately to try to resolve this issue.
