I purchased the Petcube after adopting a new rescue puppy and thought it would be nice to be able to check in on him when I have to be away from the apartment. I really love this product - I really like that you can get such a wide coverage area with the camera, not just a narrow scope, and the night vision mode is a cool, unique feature. The size is great and it blends in with my furniture/tables. Nobody even notices it unless the light or laser turns on. The sound has been great too, both on the video playback and the communication through the app. I have used the laser pointer, and it works well, but my puppy doesn’t seem interested in it at this time. I could see this being great for a cat. I think the app is great and very easy to use. I did have some trouble at first connecting it to wi-fi but only because I go through an extra modem layer with all of my Apple products but when I connected to my normal cable wifi account, it worked just fine. Overall, I really love this product and I have recommended to a couple of my friends with pets.

My cat learned very fast what a great thing this is. I like that i can watch my cat when i'm not home. Even when the cat is out of the view in another room i can use 2-way audio feature to call the kitty. And she comes every time because she knows she'll get a treat. Unfortunately my cat refused to eat included doggy treats so i put in her favorites. The device dispenses them well enough but sometimes more than 1 piece at a time. I'm also impressed by durability of the device. My kitty is a little clumsy and she accidentally pushed the device off 5ft shelf. Not a scratch! Everything is still working good.

We love our Petcube! It's super easy to set up, and the app is easy to use. The picture is really wide, which is great because it allows us to see the entire room in which we set the cube up. The picture is also pretty clear even after it's dark. Our dog gets bouts of anxiety when he is left alone, and now we are able to see when we need to get home or send a walker. And of course, we love to just see what our boy is up to :) Definitely recommend if you are looking for a way to check on your pet while you are gone!

The device we bought completely satisfies our expectations. We are monitoring our two cats on one of the rooms of our apartment, and we are already thinking on the possibility of buying another Petcube for other room. The mobile app to control the Petcube device works fine. We recommend this device to other pet owners.

I love my Petcube! I don't know how I got along without it. It's so easy to hook up! It has sound a motion detection. If you're at work or out running errands, you will get sound or motion activated notifications. You can always keep an eye on your beloved pets. My Husky is family! The peace of mind is awesome! I don't have to worry about what's going on at home anymore and it's completely worth it!

This is a unique and ingenious device that provides both novelty and utility functions. What pet owner wouldn't want to check in on their pets while away from home? That's a valuable product right there. But the added feature of allowing pet owners (and even invited friends!) to remotely toss a treat every now and then is a special bonus. You can even talk to your pets (and they can talk back)! This device is sturdy. It's bottom-heavy, wide and thick enough to remove worries about it falling over. It's very easy to set up and connect to your home WiFi network. And it's lots of fun! Constructive observations I have so far are as follows: #1 - the motion detection records a bit late after the action occurs. That means your pet may have already walked across the room before the video starts to record. However, this is not very surprising because most devices like this have a slight delay before recording. #2 - I wish there was a button on the front of the device to disconnect it from the internet. If you have this device in a common area, you have to unplug it or shut it down through the app if you expect to engage in any activity that you don't want chronicled on the internet. #3 - sometimes treats get stuck in the rubber circular device that transfers treats from the hopper to the launching bay. I am convinced that the shape of the treats has a lot to do with the chances of them jamming. Our device came with a small bag of dome-shaped treats. They got stuck occasionally and I had to remove the hopper to clear the jam. I think ball shaped treats would do best but regardless, users should never shake treats after loading them into the hopper because that will pack them in tighter and increase the chances of jamming. Lastly, this device is at a price point that may prevent some people from purchasing it. That is unfortunate because I think it is worth every penny. As a novelty product, people may find it a bit steep. But, then again, pet lovers spend bank on their critters all the time. But, if you consider that it also serves as an internal home security device as well, the price is quite on par with similar home security devices. And those devices can’t throw food at intruders, misbehaving housekeepers or babysitters!

Super easy to use and setup! Surprisingly great picture quality for such a small device. Stopped our dog from chewing on a child's toy! Have already recommended to fellow dog lovers : )

I am single cat's mom and often don't get home until late, always worry how is my baby doing there alone. I have a very sensitive cat, who really cries every time I leave him for long. With Petcube bites me and the cat now have the way to communicate. It's just been few days but I'm not worried anymore when I stay out for few more hours and also I can give him some treats. When I turn on the sound and talk he really knows that I'm there. He also learned the sound of the bites machine very fast and always comes very excited to gather them.
