Hi Aliah, We are deeply sorry to hear about your cat’s traumatic experience and can only imagine how distressing this must have been for you. I understand your frustration and regret that our Emergency Fund process did not meet your expectations during this critical time. Our primary goal is to ensure that pets receive the care they need when emergencies arise. However, for the Emergency Fund to be activated, our procedure requires an assessment and referral by one of our qualified vets before visiting a clinic. This step is essential to confirm the nature of the emergency and to ensure that funds are allocated appropriately. Unfortunately, without this assessment and referral, we are unable to authorize payment for emergency services. I appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns. We continuously strive to improve our services and policies to better serve our customers and their pets.
