The app is really useful for tracking investments across multiple providers for my wife and I.

Great functionality, though the transactions labels are a bit limited. I really enjoyed using it to track finances at first, but I've run into a snag where one of my bank accounts isn't updating on the site and throwing off a lot of the useful tracking elements on the site. I contacted customer support, they said the problem was on their end, and they'd resolve it shortly. It now has been a month since the account in question updated properly. I've contacted them in the interim, but they assure me it's something they're working on, and I should check back soon, but I'm definitely losing patience and have started looking for other services to use.

Personal Capital (PC) offers an easy interface that gives users a comprehensive look at their finances that can be manipulated for long-term goals. I would recommend anyone try PC out. There are only stronger returns to be made!

I find Personal Capital to be better designed and much easier to track investments and their performance. I will say that I have had some issues in the past with accounts not syncing. Their customer service has always been great, even though it sometimes took longer than expected for a fix. All that has never stopped me from using it because I like it too much!

For over 15 years I've been keeping track of my finances with software. First with Excel, then Quicken, Mint, PNC Bank, and several others I can't bother to remember. Personal Capital has been the only one that not only provides trouble free access to viewing balances and transactions for all of my accounts in one place, but in depth analytic tools that help me to visualize my spending, savings, and retirement investments. It's the best I've ever used.
