Daniel Pang was a bright star and a huge help to me in the process of buying a Pergolux. I purchased the top of the line 13 x 19-foot Skydance Pergolux. It came damaged and I was totally distraught. I was in the middle of a large landscaping project which required creating a retaining wall, landscaping, building a tile floor, electric and finally the pergola installation. With the Pergolux arriving damaged, all the build plans were disrupted and that created a huge problem with my contractor. All the timing of the build was thrown off. I spoke with several representatives at Pergolux hoping to resolve the situation. When Daniel Pang entered the conversation, everything turned around for me. He helped calm me down and guided me through the return and exchange of the damaged pieces. I don’t know what I would have done without him. Honestly, there were also controller/motor issues and Daniel sent out a new controller in two days. Now the Pergolux is working perfectly and looks fabulous! I want to thank Daniel Pang personally. Daniel was amazing. I don’t know what I would have done without him. He represented Pergolux in a professional, patient, caring and expert manner. I am grateful for his support and effort. We assembled the pergola ourselves and put the hand crank on incorrectly. Contacted customer service and they were very responsive and diagnosed our issue. We were able to correct and now have a very nice working pergola.

My experience with their "SkyDream S2" pergola has been nothing short of a two-month-long descent into madness. The saga began with the delivery. Apparently, PergoLux outsources this crucial step to a pair of companies seemingly run by caffeinated squirrels. First, there was AIT, the initial carrier, who managed to misplace my rather large and expensive package for an unacceptable amount of time. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, the "local delivery agent," Baba Express, entered the picture. Their communication was non-existent, their scheduling a complete joke, and the actual delivery felt like a clandestine operation where they just dumped the massive boxes and vanished without so much as a confirmation. I wasted nearly a month of my life chasing down this phantom pergola. And the grand finale? The product itself. Calling the SkyDream S2 a "pergola" feels like an insult to actual architectural structures. The assembly instructions are less helpful than a fortune cookie written in hieroglyphics. Inaccurate doesn't even begin to cover it; they seem to exist in an alternate reality where pieces magically align and gravity doesn't apply. The build quality is atrocious. The finish scratches if you look at it too hard, and the components fit together with the precision of two drunken puzzle enthusiasts. But wait, there's more! You'd think for seven thousand dollars, they might include everything you need to, you know, ASSEMBLE THE THING. Think again! Prepare to shell out even more for a small hardware store's worth of tools and materials. Apparently, PergoLux assumes everyone has a hammer drill, a power drill, two story-high ladders, a caulking gun, an impact driver, a laser level, and a drawer full of obscure Torx bits just lying around. Oh, and don't forget the bolts, screws, and sealants that they conveniently leave out. And the support? Utterly and completely useless. Their idea of assistance is pointing you towards a couple of low-resolution videos or sending blurry screenshots of the same dreadful assembly manual. It's like they actively went out of their way to hire individuals with a profound misunderstanding of both their product and basic customer service. In conclusion, purchasing the PergoLux SkyDream S2 has been an unmitigated disaster. It's overpriced, poorly made, incredibly difficult to assemble, and backed by a support system that seems designed to induce maximum frustration. Save your money, save your time, and most importantly, save your sanity. Steer clear of PergoLux at all costs. You'd have a better experience trying to build a functional shelter out of toothpicks and bubblegum. Order US4749.
