Damaged Pergola Delivery and Dismissive Support Nightmare
***Update*** Pergolux reached out immediately, and we were able to reach a satisfactory resolution regarding the hardware damage. We are still pending a resolution on the warranty confirmation but are hopeful this will be resolved amicably as well. ***Original*** Received my Sundream S2 pergola (Order US6568) on August 7, 2025. The components box arrived severely damaged, with parts missing or broken, and a structural beam was bent due to delivery team mishandling, as documented in photos provided to Pergolux. The replacement parts, promised via overnight shipping, were delayed two days just sitting in a warehouse per the tracking number (delivered August 15), disrupting our contractor’s tight schedule that had been planned out for this delivery. The incorrect replacements were provided by Pergolux and were a quarter inch too small, requiring longer screws and caulking to fit, as shown in photos sent August 25. Our workarounds saved Pergolux from replacing both the components box and beam, yet their insufficient compensation offer, which they proposed, failed to cover the hardware damage and the issues resulting from their mishandling, estimated at a couple thousand dollars. Initial email communication with customer support was positive, but after their delayed shipping and incorrect parts prompted my request for fair compensation, responses became combative, accusatory, dismissive, and unprofessional. I have yet to receive *any* partial refund whatsoever or warranty confirmation despite making their incorrect parts work due to their delays and running out of time. The aluminum frame appeared sturdy but bent easily when mishandled during delivery. Think twice before giving Pergolux your business - unreliable delivery and unprofessional support.
