Return customer, new purchase
I just purchased this 24kg competition kettlebell after having purchased a 16kg prior. I've been using the 16kg continuously in conjunction with Pavel Tsatsouline's book, Simple and Sinister v2.0. I've made tremendous progress using the programs and principles outlined in the book and needed to progress to 24kg. to continue my development. Overall the PB competition kettlebells are made very well. The weight is accurate and the black powder coat has held up just fine, even with much outdoor use on a concrete patio. The handle has some machining marks but this did not interfere with the use or feel. The handle is very smooth and the machining process is only visual. The handle will develop rust marks over time if one is not using chalk. Using chalk may delay this condition. This can be remedied with a light sanding and is the nature of the product from usage. The competition bells, regardless of manufacturer, develop this condition but I have not experienced any interference as a result. After all it is weight equipment. I highly recommend the PB Competition Kettlebells and I'm very pleased overall with the product. I look forward to many years of usage. To clarify when ordering...There is an overweight s/h charge in addition to a standard s/h charge. These charges are proportional to the weight of the kettlebell. The overweight charge is indicated when selecting your weight but the standard s/h is not until checking out. In addition there is also tax so one may be confused when ordering. PB should consider updating the description to include clarification of both s/h charges. It's not a deal breaker but a bit more clarity in the description would be welcomed.
