I like the overall ascetic of a Submariner. Homages are nice, but frankly, they all tend to miss on one issue or another, probably to avoid being sued for being quite too close. I'm also unwilling to spend $15,000USD on a Submariner. If I did, I doubt I'd ever use the thing, as even a scratch takes down the value. On a whim, I ordered a 116610 Replica from PerfectRolex and received it a few weeks later. Unfortunately, it had a problem. However, the customer service folks worked with me (they appeared to want to ensure that I understood what an automatic vs. a quartz watch was; I certainly do), and agreed to send me a replacement. The replacement arrived promptly and has no problems. It isn't a $15,000USD Rolex, but frankly, looks and functions pretty much identically to one. The value is significant, and I'd recommend the cautious to give PerfectRolex a try; they treated me fairly. :)

As certain materialistic things become more “accessible” you tend to see a lack in both quality and professionalism in specific companies… however, for the first time in quite a while I was absolutely pleased in both regards, regarding my order with this company and will definitely be ordering again.
