Hi Donald, thank you so much for your feedback, and for trying Perfectly Snug! For comfort, one trick that might be perfect for you is to use a flannel/fleece cotton fitted sheet (not a polyester blend, pure cotton is the way to go for this). I did this because I like extra softness as well. If you're also sensitive to the cooling, you can even use two fitted sheets! Usually I'd recommend adjusting your Fan Limit (I also do this), but if you want more softness *and* are sensitive to the airflow, then two fitted sheets might be perfect for you. 🤍 If you ever want to run your settings by our team and ask for tips, please feel free to email us at [email protected]. Hi Christian, we are glad to hear that your Smart Topper works well, but do understand the difference between its performance and your expectations. Our active air cooling system does not condition the air around you, but it does move heat and moisture away from your body creating an evaporative cooling effect - think, like, standing in front of a fan when you're sweaty. It works best when room ambient air temperature is below 80-degrees Fahrenheit. That being said, what I personally have found useful, if I need extra relief during hotter nights, is to take a cold shower right before bed. The Smart Topper removes any moisture still on my body, creating a cooling effect in the process. Hello Amanda, we are so glad to hear that you are loving your Smart Topper, to the extent that you've already given it a cute nickname, "Snuggie!" The Smart Topper does provide active cooling, but it doesn't condition air - what it does do is move heat and moisture away from your body, essentially creating an evaporative cooling effect similar to standing in front of a fan when you're sweaty. That being said, it does perform best if the room ambient air temperature is below 80-degrees Fahrenheit - but definitely understand how tough that can be during SoCal desert summers - have done my fair share of travel and camping around Joshua Tree and Mojave, so definitely understand what you're dealing with there! Something I've personally found helpful for increasing cooling when ambient temperatures are high (I just survived my first summer in Atlanta, without air conditioning, thanks to my Smart Topper) is taking a cold shower right before bed, and then laying down when I'm still a bit damp. Really kicks that evaporative cooling effect into overdrive. Hi Jason, thank you so much for your feedback! And, this is completely understandable. We reviewed your topper's diagnostic data yesterday and sent you a response. We're so sorry for the hassle, this is on us and we're going to resolve it for you as quickly as possible. If the power cables on your topper are all seated correctly, and if you've tried swapping the power bricks from right to left and vice versa, then the power cycling you're experiencing is due to an issue inside the topper. It's not dangerous, but it's not working correctly. Kindly let us know if you'd like to perform one more troubleshooting test - our team can send it to you today. The test would let us know if the issue might be the circuit board, which can be easily replaced if we send you a new one (it's in the manual controller). The test could also confirm that the issue lies outside the circuit board, which would warrant immediate replacement of your topper. However, even if it's the circuit board, if you'd rather not replace this component yourself, we are happy to expedite you a replacement topper, and you can ship the existing one back to us in the new one's packaging. Thank you so much for your patience, and we'll look for your response today, and get this sorted out for you. We apologize again for the hassle!
