Save your money. Spent over $50k on replacements. So far 2 years install was good but they DO NOT HELP WITH REDUCING HEAT from the sun. That is the reason we replaced our window. It is now 60F in 30143 but it is 79F in my house for the heat from the sun through the windows. I bought these so not to have to pay for AC when 60F out! Total false advertising

We bought a Pella full view storm door and realized when it was installed that the screen would be pushed out any time someone left the house. Very poor engineering! We solved the problem by buying a screen door guard rail and used heavy duty Velcro tape to secure it to the edge of the door frame. That way when cold weather came, we could just take the screen guard off so the glass could be installed easily. Put the guard back on and feel pretty comfortable with how we dealt with such a ridiculous situation. Also, when my husband went to put in the winter glass insert, it took him a long time to get the glass to fit into the frame and then put the flanges back to keep the glass from falling out. Our Anderson storm door is a cinch compared to the Pella!

For the amount of money we paid.. (over 20k) for two patio doors and 4 windows, I am disappointed. First, they installed our patio doors the wrong way.. never heard back on the them trying to rectifying. The biggest window we had installed is a lability, I can rest my hand on the screen and it just pops out..not safe with it being the second story, they don’t seemed concerned about that, someone came and looked at it, adjusted a flimsy notch and said that was the most they could do. The other 3 windows have this screen where it hides the screen when closed and when you open it the screen expands.. well that is the cheapest crap ever. We can’t even open the windows without the screen falling off the track and then it doesn’t move with the window. The amount of money we spent I expected our patio doors to be installed correctly and to not have cheap screens. I would not recommend.

Good windows but the customer service sucks

I contracted with the Pella Showroom in Monroe, Ct. to install 13 Pella replacement windows. Several of the windows were installed in rotting wood left from the old windows and were not repaired as promised, as they should have been. The insulation job was hastily done and resulted in foam insulation on the exposed parts of the windows. Some windows were left with large voids. The installers scarred several walls and left a messy work area. This should not have happened with the cost of the installation. When I called the dealer, they never returned my call. A call to Pella customer service resulted in a hang-up. Should have gone with Andersen. I'm actually surprised that Pella is still in business.

FYI, be aware that if you're buying Pella windows for your new home, the clock starts ticking on your 2-year labor warranty when they're delivered to the builder, not when you take possession of your new home. We discovered damaged seals on some of our windows and reported them, but because they were delivered to the builder 8 months before the home was finished and we were beyond the two-year anniversary of that date, they won't honor the 2-year labor warranty. Awful customer service!

I spent 14k with pella, they were recommended by Rosie on the house so I looked no further, PROS: Good looking product, quiet and no draft BAD: Customer service, install and finish. I complained about edging around frame work and screen door not flush as well as suspect install, they came out once after a month and didnt fix but one thing. I have ants coming In Through one of the installs, complained again . No response yet
