I do not recommend Pella. Their customer service sucks. I have been trying to get an estimate and order 2 replacement windows. After a month and a half I still can’t get help. I have a long email thread to prove it, with customer service names. They just don’t come through. Why would you buy a new Pella window if you can’t get support when something happens?

They came out and measured 3 times and then the manager came to measure again and said all the 3 sales people measured wrong and he wanted 1,700 dollars more than the price they give me .He was loud and acting like it’s my fault that the measurements was wrong. He canceled the contract.How could all the measurements be wrong!

Pella is one of the worst companies to deal with. Will never use again. They started a job in May 2026 and it is now Sept 2026 and the job isn’t finished. After around 70 phone calls many unreturned. They charge a good amount and are crappy at completing the task, they have my $36000 but I do not have a finished set of doors front or back.

Impossible to get replacement parts and no one connected to Pella is willing to help. We had a simple request for weatherstripping and a door bottom sweep. No help needed, just wanted this simple product. - they have an online store, but nothing was available. - we tried calling but were passed around from one place to another. - finally got someone who said they would try to find some and would text us an invoice. No follow up. The dimensions on Pella’s weatherstripping is unique to the brand, so other standard weatherstripping doesn’t work. We wound up buying quality standard weatherstripping and customizing it to work. A lot less headache. Of course this voids any warranty, but it doesn’t sound like they stand behind their product. UPDATE: we just got an email from them and it is for the wrong product.

Date: Tue, Aug 25, 2026 at 4:03 PM Subject: Order#731460402-ATTENTION REQUESTED Sent to Pella corporate office.... We placed an order for a brand new Pella front door on January 28,2026 with your sales representative Billy Stewart. Our first door arrived and was installed on April 6, 2026. During the installation process your installer put a dent in the top of the door panel with his nail gun. We were told a replacement would be ordered. The replacement panel was installed on June 16, 2026. While cleaning the glass it became apparent there were fingerprints between the glass panels as well as scratches on the inside of the glass. I contacted customer service who asked me to send photos which I did that day. Two weeks later I was contacted and told they were sending someone out to take MORE photos. After that was done I was contacted AGAIN two weeks later and told they needed to send someone out a second time to take photos of the numbers on the glass.. fast forward to today August 25, 2026 when the technicians arrived with ANOTHER new panel only to discover the entire window framing was crooked and would not be installed. In good faith because of the Pella name we trusted that in spending over $7,000 on a new front door we would be receiving a quality product that would last our lifetime. Your company obviously has serious issues going on with your manufacturing and at this point we would never recommend a Pella product to anyone and will gladly share our horror story with others. Seven months, over $7,000 given to your company and more appointments than I can count and we still own a damaged door. Nobody has ever reached out to apologize or assure us this will be rectified. Your salesperson who was eager and willing to help us through the process disappeared under a rock after the very first issue happened. Pella Windows Hello: Your customers deserve better than this. WE deserve better than this

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Pella Windows and Doors. Based on what happened with my order, I would not recommend them. Pella came out and took the measurements for the glass for my door, yet the wrong size glass was installed. What was especially frustrating was that what I originally ordered was changed, leaving me with something different from what I expected and had agreed to. Trying to get the situation corrected has been incredibly difficult. I have spent far too much time trying to reach the appropriate people and get answers about a problem that should never have occurred in the first place. When you hire a company like Pella, you expect accurate measurements, clear communication, and for the product you ordered to be installed correctly. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. After everything I have gone through trying to resolve this, I would never recommend Pella for doors or windows. I am still hoping they will take responsibility and properly resolve this situation.

We spent over $20,000 and double doors three years ago the door is jammed shut and they told me it’ll take a month to get someone out here to fix it

We will never buy Pella Windows and Doors again! We built our house about 20 years ago and used Pella to install our doors and windows. Now it is time to get the weather stripping changed, and some locks on the doors replace or repaired because they stick, or don't work at all. We called Pella for service, and were quickly put on a waiting list. A few months later they came to our house for service, but told us they didn't have the right parts and they needed to order them. The 2nd time they came out, it was the same story. Then they came out for a 3rd time, and once again they said they didn't have the right parts and needed to order them. We are now waiting for a 4th visit from them to get our Windows and Doors serviced, Is it really that hard is it to get the correct weather stripping? It has already been 8 months since we started this process. So frustrating!!!
