I visited the Peet’s coffee in terminal 4 at jfk. Nothing good about it, was just barely warm and the customer service was nonexistent. Don’t go here!!

There is no call center. You cannot order over the phone. The website is NOT user friendly. Great coffee but terrible website. They don’t offer 1 bag per month of a different kind subscription. They send it all at once. Never Again!

First Pete’s Coffee is a fine coffee purveyor. I have purchased Pete’s for years. My issue is the over roast and grind of their French roast. Boyd Coffee who sold out to a competitor had a blend called French #6. This coffee wasn’t as dark and the grind not like pancake four. It had character and real flavor. it would be nice to see Pete’s re-evaluate their French blend.

My experience is strictly with the companies Customer Experience Advocate dept, not the coffee. We purchase over 10 boxes of 5 individual boxes a month on Amazon and sometime they are delayed and we will go to Publix and get what we need. Well my son happens to pick up a box at Publix while we waited for our Amazon delivery and much to out surprised when he opened the box there was yellow capsule inside with the red ones, we buy Cream Oscura no 9. I wrote an email to the company and they kept asking for more and more info like if we had painted the capsule yellow. Not even a courtesy pack of coffee was sent to us. They need more business etiquete. I went to Publix and look at the boxes NON had yellow capsules inside by the pack window, Meaning they don’t sell the yellow capsules it as a packing error at the factory. They kept asking for pictures I sent them they wanted numbers and I honesty open the packages place them in a glass case and dump The cardboard boxes. I am very disappointed in the customer service and customer appreciation of Peet’s marketing dept. It was a real eye opener for me to see corporate america at work. I worked many years ago in NYC with coffee and that the biggest profit ever. So they can’t fool me and our coffee was imported from Colombia and Coban Guatemala. Specially the one from Guatemala doesn’t turn acid while sitting on the warmer all day it’s an incredible smooth delicious coffee. So shame on Peet’s this is the person that wrote back to me: Jangam Yashwanth Babu Customer Experience Advocate | Peet's Coffee & Tea | Mon-Fri 6 am-6 pm PST | 800.999.2132 In fact we stopped buying Peet’s actions like they are a turn off to consumers. And never got back to me with an apology or resolución. Ex Peet coffee lover

I was disappointed with the service I had here today esp after tipping 20%. A woman with short hair and glasses was in particularly unhelpful. I came in with three kids - one in a pram. Ordered all of us drinks and cakes and was unable to take everything outside as they had run out of trays and were unable to provide me with one. Bearing in mind I had all the kids drinks and treats as well as my own and a 2 year old in a pram. Since they couldn't provide me with something to carry everything out at once with, it meant leaving the kids at one point which is not safe. When the woman said they did not have trays I politely asked in that case could they help me bring the coffees outside and she refused to due to there "only" being two staff present. There was two orders after me- hardly run off their feet! If two orders makes it too hard for them to dash out for 10-15 seconds and help someone who has just tipped them 20% then she probably is not equipped for the job. This can be done when the two orders after have been done- it's not rocket science! Having worked in hospitality for years this service was poor and came across as just plain lazy and incompetent. I have personally handled much busier places on my own and was running food and drinks to boot- I know when people are too busy and when to give them grace and this was not it. It gave off that these people won't move an inch for a customer if they don't have to which is also sad to see. Her attitude was very false, saying sorry passive aggressively and unwilling to help or find a solution. She was just not bothered to help and was trying to get rid of me. When did everyone become so rude and inconsiderate that we can't do the bare minimum to help ppl out, esp with kids involved? Won't be coming back and will be telling ppl not to come back either. Really wish I just asked for a refund esp the tip I gave for terrible service. Do better

Ordered and paid Nov 28. Received Dec 19. I can understand delays in shipping but I do not accept the pushy way they maneuver customers to sign up for auto delivery. I tried to re-order 2 bags of coffee for $47 and they tell me I need another $1.20 for free shipping. I didn’t see anything for sale at that price.. So 2 bags for $55? I don't think so and when I checked reviews I found many unhappy about being tied into auto delivery. I don't like the way they conduct business.
