Only way to view private Instagram accounts
This is the only way you can view private Instagram accounts. But, you must keep your expectations realistic. It does NOT work on every private account. I tried on 2 different accounts before it was successful. The 2nd account worked in only 2 days. The prior attempt took more than 3 weeks and it was not successful. So, it doesn't always work. When it does work, things go fairly smoothly. The daily updates is frustrating till you get used to it (still don't like having to wait 24 hours for a refresh). The automated updates (using the update button) only work if there are new posts or stories. If there is not new post or story, you have to contact customer service for a manual update (because it becomes stuck). Customer service has always been very prompt and friendly, but the manual data updates can take a while, up to 24 hours. Also, you do not have access to the account highlights. This is frustrating. It's available now, but it's a separate subscription cost and they manually email you the highlights which is odd. But on the plus side, stories do not disappear after 24 hours. They remain in your dashboard for months. So you always have access to them. Same thing for Posts, if they are deleted in Instagram, they remain on your dashboard. So you have all the history. Frankly it's a little bit clunky, but it works.
