If I could put 0, I would. Don't think PayPal will protect you, they can't even understand what you're telling them. You'll fight for nothing. Horrible experience.

I logged in to my PayPal account in January 2020 after years of not using it (bad customer service put me off). But one of my customers suggested PayPal as a payment method, so I thought I should give them another chance. I am sorry I did. Things have gotten worse. They blocked/limited my account on Feb 15 (I thought, hey, I haven't logged in in years so that's ok). I submitted a copy of my ID and a proof of address. 5 days later I got the green light that all my documents are in order. Great! So, I invoice the client. But when he wanted to make the payment on March 23rd, they told him my account it locked. So I login and I see a message that indeed, account has been locked and they require some documents from me. Yep, it was a copy of my ID and proof of address. Does PayPal think we change our name and address every month? I dunno, but I submitted the same documents again. I waited around for a week, until they unlocked it (I would have been surprised if they hadn't since I submitted the same papers I had two weeks prior). Third time's a charm, I finally manage to receive payment from the client and surprise, surprise, account is locked again. And, you guessed it, I had to submit my ID and proof of address again. I wonder, will this happen every month? Not for me. As soon as they unlock my account, I'm taking my money out and closing this account forever. PayPal is a scam and I'm not sure what is going on with them, but it can't be good.

Just had to pay for something that I never wanted nor ordered. The PayPal customer service concluded this case in hours, saying: Nothing to complain about. You received something. I didn't receive, nor order. So keep in mind: Any shady business can come to you and grab your money. PayPal is your third-party-robber that just likes to watch you getting robbed.

i bought an item off eBay for £66 they were a new user and paypal had released the payment to money to them and just getting excuses off them i have contacted paypal and they are withholding my payment. I will now be closing my account as ebay and paypal are useless. Scammed by paypal and ebay

I will have to charge a commission to eBay and their associate company PayPal for withholding my money 21 days despite I have delivered the package to the buyer, included a UPS tracking number with proof of delivery, and that the buyer has left positive feedback on eBay. It's a total shame the way these two companies benefit from our money. They will probably use it to manipulate the financial market or who knows what another dark reason. Someone should investigate these two enterprises that do not act for the benefit of the buyer or the seller but on their own benefit. PayPal acts on behalf of eBay as eBay retains my money and PayPal does not release it even though I am supposedly its customer. PayPal continues to deny that there is corporatism with eBay when it is evident that there is a complicity between the two companies and Paypal favors eBay to the detriment of me.

I have been using PayPal for personal and business purposes for many years, that ended this January 2020. It used to be that seeing the PayPal logo on sites meant the merchant is trusted and honest. Guess what? - not the case. This past holiday season I came across what seemed to be legit online retailers only after I received the product turned out they were Chinese freudulant businesses. In one case I returned the item I purchased online, opened a claim with PayPal sent all required shipping info plus a shipping certificate, only to be denied a refund from PayPal stating that they didn't receive the required shipping info. What a bunch of BS! I am so disappointed. So PayPal is out big time. To PayPal: You lost another customer. Keep siding with freudulant business, inevitably enough of your customers will leave that at some point we will make a dent in your profit, and you'll have to start paying attention. PayPal has lost all integrity.

Beware guys of PayPal after 17 years I told them I would do this and I'm going to continue to tell the world they will ruin people's business and life they're a bunch of liars I've called there three times they let a customer use electronic check it's been 7 days they told me several times twice I would have already had the money the senators were unaware of this it cleared their Bank four days ago now they're telling me another three days you cannot trust PayPal they didn't even have the common courtesy to give me a temporary credit your money is not safe with them I don't believe there's too many other ways to transfer money instantly then play games with PayPal 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This billion dollar industry will shut you down just as soon as your business starts taking off because it seems suspicious. Now my bills get to be paid late and kids complain about not having enough to eat because they want to hold all my money for 6 months waiting for a dispute that's never gonna happen. 🖕🏼
