PAYNE GLASSES LAB IS LOCATED IN CHINA.. STAY AWAY FROM PAYNE GLASSES. I have had the worst experience ever with Payne Glasses. This is the second pair from them.. The customer service is VERY rude and inconsiderate, and i get hung up on me every time I call them. My left lens was different than what the doctor prescribed. I texted customer service back and forth and then didn't get a response for several hours. I have been ignored and I feel I have wasted my money. I want a full refund because I don't want their services anymore. Lenses can have smudges and it's difficult to clean these lenses with the piece of cloth that they provide. When I ordered the glasses with the blue blocking technology, I had strong headache for several days so I had to return them but still had to pay for shipping, which is not fair.

Update: Customer service finally agreed to exchange glasses. I just received the remade pair and they are perfect. I'm updating to 3 stars. ************************************* I just ordered my 10th pair of glasses from this company. When I tried them on I could tell right away that they made them with the wrong prescription. I contacted the company by email asking if I could have the lenses remade. Then they proceeded to give me the run around. 1st they won't a picture of me wearing the glasses and a copy of my prescription. So I send it. Then they want a picture of me holding the ruler that comes with each order so they can get my pd measurement. So then they tell me that my pd measurement is different and to download an app to measure it. So I responded saying that all the other glasses I ordered from them are fine. So now this pair all of a sudden I have new measurements. This has been going on for 3 days. I got tired of the back and forth and told them that they lost me as a customer. No one responded back after that. So customer service does not care if they lose someone who purchased 10 pairs of glasses. I will admit they do have quality glasses for great prices. But once something goes wrong, in my opinion, they will not help you and won't admit that they made a mistake.

I got a pair sent to me that has damage before I even opened it because it’s how they looked when I opened the packaging…and when I get back with them to tell them of the damage I got treatment like was my fault… I had to pay for shipping and handling to get them fixed and still haven’t received them back …I don’t know what happened to PG but these days are very different the way service is…Very unprofessional and rude towards this Mexican and seems like I’m punished for this experience because I still haven’t received them back ….I figure if it was my fault I would fix and ship ASAP but I’m not the millionaire in this situation….I understand how most work…Rudely superior… IM MORE UPSET WITH THIS PURCHASE AND GETTING EVEN MORE TIRED OF PATIENTLY WAITING

Let me start off by saying Luxottica is running a monopoly on Eyewear. I work hard for my money and it pains me to have to pay $400+ for a single frame prescription eyewear. Along comes this company that was started in Pennsylvania in the good Ol' U.S.A. Since starting a business relationship with them I have purchased 5 pairs of prescription eyewear. I did it because I could and I paid less than $400 for all 5 pairs. My prescription consists of bi-focals. Payne gave me that plus a no line progressive style. I could get sunglasses and even ordered one with a polarized mirror finish (Just for driving in the summer). They don't have little luxury brand logos on their frames but they give you a good product at a great price. I am looking forward to seeing them initiate a "Ship in your frame for updated lenses" program and that will definitely take them over the top. If you need a pair of eyeglasses at an affordable price check Payne Glasses out and you will not be disappointed. They don't accept insurance but if they keep on growing they may at one point allow insurance.

Two years ago I paid close to $800. for two pair of progressives. My Rx changed and I didn’t want to shell out that kind of money so soon. I bought two pair of progressives with poly lenses and they arrived within two weeks and EVERYTHING was spot on! I love the glasses and will buy more. Oh BTW, the two pair cost me $105. with PG. FOR BOTH PAIR! Yes, I’m shouting this out because it is really a good product and company, Glasses fit great with no adjustments needed. Came with a nice hard case and a thick cleaning cloth. What more could I ask for? Wonderful! Can’t wait for the next sale to appear. Also, PG has a points program where you earn credit and can apply the credit on any future order. I can’t say enough good things about PG. Thanks PG!
