I Highly Recommend Paycom
We started using Paycom in 2021. It's a game changer! Before that we were using Quickbooks and calculating our accruals on an Excel spreadsheet. We did have direct deposit for payroll, but mileage reimbursements were calculated by hand. People were keeping mileage logs on paper and submitting them to finance. It was arduous! It was difficult for staff members to know if they were being reimbursed and/or paid properly. We decided to hire a third-party finance company to manage our accounts, but payroll remains in-house with HR. It was a simple and money-saving transition. Additionally, Paycom is always a phone call away if there are any questions or problems. Most of the problems we have encountered were simply because we were not sure how to navigate something in the system, but the Paycom reps are always able to solve the problem on a phone call. From beginning until now it has been one of the best decisions we have made.
