Unlike most users on Pawshake, I do not have a cat or a dog, but a house bunny, two budgies and a gecko. We found ourselves completely stumped with what to do after having booked a two week break abroad; we could book the rabbit in a local pet shop but she’d be crammed in there alone but our past one got a disease from there and subsequently died. Besides, two attention-hoarding birds and an insectivorous gecko is a bit much to fling on a polite friend. I found Pawshake on the App Store and was immediately impressed with how professional the user interface was was and how legit it all looked. I contacted a couple of people before coming across a lovely sounded petsitter. Most of them say in their description bio that they are use to looking after “cats and dogs”, but this woman was willing to do my strange array of animals too. We arranged to meet before hand as the app suggests and discussed the animals needs. We provided her with some extra £¥$€ so she could purchase some fruit, vegetables and bugs in case they ran out whilst we were gone. She was amazing. We received updates via text every day from her and the safety features of the app such as the insurance and past reviews truly put my mind at ease. I was so impressed with both the app and Petsitter, who let my birds and rabbit out daily to stretch their legs/wings and was willing to deal with the sorry sight of live bugs entering a geckos humble abode. I will definitely use the app again after having originally been highly sceptical of it. Pets are such a precious thing and it’s great an app like this gives you a large volume of pet sitters to chose from and doesn’t pay them until after they have provided the service. Seriously, 10/10.

Pawshake ist eine tolle Seite zur Vermittlung von Tiersittern, die ernsthaft und mit viel Liebe ihre Arbeit machen.

Julia ist eine sehr zuverlässige und fürsorgliche Sitterin. Sie hat sich sehr gut um meine Rattis gekümmert und mich immer auf dem laufenden gehalten, sei es mit Fotos oder Videos. Bei ihr sind Fellnasen in super Händen. Ich würde sie beim nächsten Urlaub wieder engagieren.

Non sapevo proprio come fare a lasciare i miei 4 mici per due settimane. Pawshake è stata la svolta e ho trovato una cat sitter molto brava. Grazie, un servizio utilissimo!
