Do not Join this site as a Dog Sitter. Pawshake has terrible customer service as previously mentioned by many but its even worse if you are a sitter. I had 1 awful experience with a Client who was mentally unstable and her untrained dangerous animal, I was left to figure out what to do alone, they refunded her and let her leave a horrible 1 star review for me. I was unpaid and did not get any support throughout. If this had turned legal I have no doubt that Pawshake would not have backed or helped me in any way. It is dangerous to work for this site, you are vunerable do not join.

Hi Gina, Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. You are being paid for the portion of the service where you had the dog, until the owner collected their dog again. You were informed of this on 07/07/2024. The owner is within their rights to leave a review of the services you rendered, especially in light if the fact you lost their dog for a 5 hour time period. If you wish to leave a public response to their review on your profile - please let our team know. We are very sorry that you had a personal conflict with your client. let us contact the sitter!
We don't seem to be able to get a response we can use. I know they have to protect their commissions but we need to contact directly, the dog sitter. We get placid responses and that's it. They want you to pay up front without seeing the dog sitter. My dog is too imprortant to me.

Hi Mary Ann & Ken, Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We will never encourage you to make a booking or payment until you have first had a free Meet & Greet with your sitter. This is to ensure that they, you and your pet are all a good match. Please never book or pay without first having a Meet & Greet. From what I can see, two of the sitters you enquired with have written back to organise a Meet & Greet and the third responded that they currently have a concussion and will reply to you as soon as possible. Once you have had a successful Meet & Greet, please return to the message thread between you to confirm and pay for the booking. If you need further help with the booking procedure, please head to our Help Centre for further advice.

Easy reliable process
Website was easy to navigate, direct messaging with sitters made making contact quick, after initial meet & greet booking procedure was straight forward. Most importantly our sitter was so genuine, reliable, kind & caring, we could not ask for more.
