Great… Then Not So Great
I am the owner of a Boxer dog born July 23rd, 2021 and purchased through Pawrade. My boy was advertised on Pawrade as having “champion bloodlines.” He’s an absolutely beautiful boy, but I can assure you he will not be winning any contests. My puppy arrived with acute GI issues that persisted through the first year. He’s been on an expensive veterinary diet since. Then, a series of x-rays revealed hip dysplasia and early onset spinal arthritis, both of which are already affecting his mobility. Most recently, he was diagnosed with Symmetrical Lupoid Onychodystrophy, an incurable disease that makes all of his nails fall off, and makes it painful for him to walk. It’s been an expensive struggle. My experience with Pawrade was amazing, up until the dog was placed into my arms. From that point forward it’s been one contractual excuse after another why they can offer zero assistance. Read the contract before you agree to buying a pet on the internet. Better yet, go see a reputable breeder in person and get the facts face to face.
