Nahid, we are very sorry that you experienced a personal issue after receiving your pup. We did all we could to assist you and are happy that you seem to have gotten the issue worked out. But a negative review here simply is not fair or justified. We had no control over your private situation.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. We were told Raquel wasn't microchipped and after bringing her to her 1st vet appointment was told she was.The vet gave microchipped number and I had to call places to see what companies microchip it was and register Raquelto me.Raquel is absolutely beautiful and was delivered to use with a yellow tint from urine which does not happen on a 10-12 drive. This was an accummulation of time.Sad that they would live in such conditions. We received puppies from other breeders and wasnt delivered with discoloration. A really small bag of dog food was given. No toy or blanket with litter scent was given like other breeders. REALLY DISAPPOINTING

Hey Steve, I am not sure why you were told your pup was not microchipped. I can see the microchip information on the documents we sent you. I am sorry that you or your vet missed that. Most folks appreciate a pup being chipped as it saves them the typical $50 cost and shows that the breeder does things the right way. I can also see that your pups body is white. Discoloration on the underside is very common on white dogs that spend any time outside. I cant be sure what it is from but I am certain she didnt spend any amount of time laying in urine. Your breeder is a reputable professional who breeds fantastic pups and gives them the best care.

Ramon, we are so sorry to hear that your pup arrived not feeling well. Some pups do have a hard time with travel but typically they quickly rebound. I know our health guarantee manager has been in contact with you and we will get you and Eleon or taken care of.

Pet came with Giardia, still can’t get rid of it.
As the Pawrade team is extremely helpful the all in all experience after receiving my puppy has been a nightmare. She was delivered at 12am and I had an apt at 12 pm the same day. She was diagnosed with Giardia, which was blatantly obvious bc her stomach was large, so we knew it wasn’t normal. By this time, she had already been introduced to my other pet by which she infected him. I got my puppy in late November. It is now mid-January and as of today I have to re-start treatment for the both of them. Again! They say puppies are pre-screened, had this been the case she should’ve never left her breeder without being treated first. It’s honestly been a nightmare. I almost regret the whole thing and would’ve rather just stayed a single pet home. Mind you, my home is not dirty, I have a toddler and infant so I know things need to be sterile and well maintained. But this is a stubborn parasite. What Pawrade needs to do is have a full pet health check, including stool samples, before letting these pups go to their new home.
Update 2/6/24
Received my test results back for the 2nd (existing pup) and 3rd time (Pawrade pup), and my dogs both still show a positive Giardia test. After my “umpteenth” call with the doctor, he felt best to “stop treatment” as it’s been numerous rounds already and that my pup SHOULD develop a stronger immune system as she gets older. He said about 8-9 months. SO, with this being said, it is expected to keep my existing dog separated from the new pup for a few more months. While this might be ideal for some, it is a complete hassle for me and the normal folk. I have bought disposable blankets to lay down for bedding each day, disposable food and water bowls to throw out during each feeding, bleached the floor every night to every other night, and have given them frequent baths before, during, and after treatment and to no avail, here we are, in February. I talked my vet into 1 more round of treatment as I have little ones at home, but this is the last of my efforts.
*Update 1/28 in response to Pawrade*
I’m not sure who said Giardia was “easy to treat,” but this is in no way true. After the first failed treatment, I did research on my own because as much fun as it is to spend $100 per treatment and $100 per fecal test, this x2 dogs x2-3 treatments now, gets quite expensive. After a round of treatment, mind you the dogs have to be separated, you have to wait at least 1 week to re-test the fecal sample. So, treatment is initially 2 weeks because you have to keep dogs separated during that time. I have had my dogs separated since November 28/29 whenever she arrived. I am waiting to re-test again this week. IT IS JANUARY 28th! If you do proper research you learn that the floor, their water, their food, their bedding, their toys have to be cleaned, bleached daily! This is in NO way easy.
I honestly don’t believe the fecal test before leaving the breeder. The moment she came to us, within that very 20 minutes, she had explosive diarrhea with traces of blood. I kid you not. So I highly doubt this was something that just randomly brewed up during transport. And she eats her own poop. Which is a whole other subject I researched and is open for discussion on the quality of life before getting her. But if this was “dormant” then maybe Pawrade should look into a different transporting service they offer clients if the one they use doesn’t properly disinfect their vehicles. (What’s the point of a health check if you put them in a box with wheels that’s infected before arriving?!) Furthermore, if it “lies dormant” then she already had it before transport and was treated. That means the breeder kept alllllll of the puppies separated during and after treatment. It’s just really hard to believe that.
Just the all in all update as of 1/28/24, my pups have not been together since the first day I brought her home in LATE November. Guardia is an extremely hard parasite to get rid of, especially with multiple dogs. If you don’t believe me, research it. I have a master’s degree from a research institution, so I’m not unfamiliar with how to look up facts and information. My dog before her didn’t start showing symptoms until a few days after being exposed to her. So my best advice is if you get a new pup from here, keep your dogs separated, do not introduce to one another, until after the first check up. Even then, keep them in a place that’s easy to clean Incase they are infected. (I had to get my carpets cleaned).
I would ask a lot, and I mean a lot, of questions about your interest in a pup about the breeder and the conditions because treatment can get very expensive!
They say “don’t forget to submit your claim” but it lasts 30 days. This lasts maybe 1 treatment with the duration of the wait time after finishing treatment.
As I mentioned. I almost regret the whole experience. Thanks anyway though Pawrade.

Hey Randi, we are so sorry to hear that your pup has contracted Giardia. All of our pups do get a complete head to toe exam before leaving for their new homes. This does include a fecal test. Sometimes the Giardia lies dormant but the stress of travel weakens the pups immune system and allows it to flare up. Giardia is extremely common in pups and is usually easily treatable. If you have not already be sure to submit your vet documents to [email protected] to open a health guarantee claim.

Adorable puppy … terrible experience
My first initial conversation was pleasant and helpful. Once the puppy was paid for my experience went south quickly. My questions would go days without response. My contact lady was out of the office more than she was in and the transport mixed up the dates and the puppy arrived a week ahead of schedule leaving me to scramble and get the necessary supplies on my end. The puppy has Giardia and we are on round 2 of treatment. We do love our puppy and are glad to have her but our experience with the staff has been less than desirable. I would not purchase this way again nor would I recommend it to anyone

Buyers beware!
We bought a Bernese Mountain puppy in September 2023. The dog came with a clean bill of health, however, he hasn't stopped having diarrhea for 3 months. He's arrived with treatment resistant giardiasis and messed up microbiome, and we have already spent several thousand dollars treating him. I have researched the breeder, and apparently the puppy came from a Mennonite farm (they are notorious for backyard breeding). Do not buy from Pawrade! Otherwise you are facing a chance of spending a fortune on treating your puppy from all kinds of things. They will never acknowledge the fact that the deal with unreliable breeders and blame everything on you.

We are sorry that your pup seems to have contracted Giardia. This is very common and something we go over with all our prospective buyers to be careful about. We dont have any documents from you to activate your health guarantee or to open a claim. I have reached out to you in our message center as well.
We also carefully vet all our breeders and do everything possible to ensure we have no relation with "puppy mills". While we are aware that a very small number of poor breeders may be Mennonite we would never propagate that horrible stereotype or be so bigoted as to make that assumption. We certainly would never ask anyone what their religion may be as a condition of doing business with them.

Poorly run business!
The site had the dog’s weight wrong, so it caused a problem for travel. Then I was given a day and time to pick up the puppy, so I made the arrangements for travel over the mountain. Afterward, the breeder called wanting more money, and the travel arrangements were changed, I have to wait for 2 more weeks before I can get my puppy. By that time, there will be snow in the mountains so my 2 hour trip one way will be more like 3 hours one way. And my email is getting flooded with spam now from Pawrade. And I still don’t have the puppy!

Hey Rosemarie, We do apologize for the bumps in the road, There was some confusion with the flights. Some of it was beyond our control. Ultimately we did get you your pup at no extra cost. Carmen was delivered to you happy and healthy and we are so pleased about that. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Best wishes to you and your new furry family member.

The company should have one person…
The company should have one person throughout the whole experience. After it went to the travel person. It went downhill. She went on vacation and I didn’t get the travel bill to the last minute and they were going to cancel the trip all because I never got the bill. It was stated my dog was being potty trained. That wasn’t the truth. The breeder had 19 puppies and no time today train him.

Hey Dr. Julie, we do understand that sometimes it can be inconvenient to speak with different folks. But we have found that it is the most efficient way to ensure that our clients can get the attention they deserve in a timely manner. We would not want anyone to wait for days as our team member may be on well deserved days off. I can also see that your travel invoice was created at the same time as your other invoices so I am not sure where that glitch was, but I do apoogize. With pups that are a bit older like yours, breeders will begin to introduce them to potty training but that process typically takes months to be completely successful. Also a drastic change like ging to a new home can cause some setbacks as well. Poodles are super smart though and we are sure she will come around very quickly for you. Thank you for choosing Pawrade and we wish you the best form many amazing days to come with your new best buddy.
