I was repeatedly lied to about the dog, temperament training, food, socialization, kennel training, potty training, him being up to date on vaccines, etc. not to mention my dog was abused and when I told them they refused to believe me saying well we’ve been with this breeder for years.
Response from PawradeJun 4, 2021
Hi Desiree,
We certainly do not lie and are alarmed you went to such depths and pinned this on our service. All information on puppy listings are placed by the Breeder; not Pawrade. All communications including email, phone and texts are recorded. We are not a broker; we are a platform to ensure safety, security, etc. all while ensuring the puppy leaves with a clean bill of health. It appears you have a personal issue with your Breeder which is not indicative of our service. We have glaring reviews from very happy customers and our customer service is impeccable. We understand we cannot please everyone and are sorry you had a less than excellent experience in your eyes. But let it be known, we do not lie. We are a very honest, transparent company who genuinely cares about every puppy, every customer and every breeder.

They advertised puppies as AKC…
They advertised puppies as AKC registered but that’s a lie. Bought my dog in September was never given AKC papers. Contacted the breeder and he stopped returning my text. Contacted Pawrade, and they too have given me the cold should and strung me along for more than 6 months. I got- the papers were mailed to me, to let me contact the breeder. Which is it? The last time I called I was asked if I’m sure I bought a pup from them, my chase credit card statement says yes. I guess they realize was taking this further so suddenly they got dumb. If they were upfront I would have been ok because I love myself dog and don’t care about the papers, but it’s the lies and time wasting, and not to mention I paid for an AKC registered dog. I asked if they have ever had a customer not get papers for a dog and they said no Im the first. The breeder had other puppies selling on their site, so those people got papers and I did not? Look out for the breeder is a scam and Pawrade is aiding in his scam.
Response from PawradeMay 20, 2021
Marissa,
You could have contacted your puppy concierge or even the Breeder to assist you with any request before leaving us a one star review for which we have no control over.
AKC is 6+ months behind in processing and mailing the associated registration paperwork upon receipt. Breeders are given a grace period of time to file the necessary paperwork. Per the contract, registration paperwork may take up to one year to be delivered. This is out of our control as we are not affiliated with the AKC.
Have you rated the AKC a 1-star for their services? The fact is we provided you with a happy & healthy puppy, your only issue is something that is completely outside of our control. Does that truly warrant a 1-star for Pawrade?
Please kindly consider that other factors are at play here and labeling our service as a scam will not expedite the process.

Buyer beware and do your research…
Buyer beware and do your research thoroughly. I purchase a Frenchie Bulldog 1 month ago to make a long story short. Came home from work and found pinkish blood spot all over the training pads. Lexi even had urinary retention were she strain to void.Vet decided to send her home with antibiotic . I did not know when I purchase Lexie that breed has multiple condition 31 on 1 web site 26 on another. I thought I had research Frenchie but now come to think of it the sites never mention any of these condition Congenital and hereditary. Now I ask pawrade to return this puppy to breeder bc I could not afford to have a dog That would always be sick . pawrade said Breeder will take puppy back .I did not want another Frenchie after finding out what problem they are.Now wait for this the breeder gets the puppy and keeps thousand and thousand of dollars. I have to purchase another which would be over 10,000 dollars . beware do your research.Customer Service is poilte and courteous but never answer my question about the parents health. The Vet did not do any testing or invasive procedure do to her age 12week.Im 76 years old I just can't afford to keep Lexie
Response from PawradeMay 12, 2021
Buyer beware?!?!? Your review is NOT based on your experience with Pawrade, the Breeder or even your Puppy. Your puppy was given a clean bill of health from your vet after delivery. 5 weeks later your puppy developed a urinary tract infection which is a common ailment for the breed.
Your issue is based on the fact that YOU cannot care for your puppy and did NOT understand the French Bulldog breed as a whole! We delivered a happy & healthy puppy to you, unfortunately as you admitted, you didn't do enough research on the breed.
We are sorry your puppy came down with a urinary tract infection under your care, again, this is not a genuine review on our services.
We have been in contact with you and have scheduled for your puppy to be returned to the breeder, per your request. As you are well aware, there are no refunds for someone that changes their mind 5 weeks post delivery. This is a living breathing animal not a TV from Costco.

The a nightmare to not get a puppy
Getting a puppy should be one of a kind experience, unfortunately, this is not what you would get with this company. The customer service is less than poor.
My puppy supposed to have traveled on March 31st after that day I did not receive any updates, I contacted the company and they misled me saying the breeder could not send the puppy due to "Easter", after several calls and emails I finally got the contact information of the breeder who explained to me the puppy was sick and it was under antibiotic reason why she could not send the puppy, she promised it would get better and she will be back to me soon with a further update about the travel time.
At this point, I have bought the specific food I was told, the vitamins, and so on to receive a puppy I would never get.
On April 7th I got an email saying the puppy will travel on April 9th, they will send me pictures of the puppy and the nanny so I would know who to expect when they arrive. After waiting all day, once again I had to chase them for information. I called the breeder and learned the nanny's husband was sick so she could not travel, meaning I would not get my puppy and I will have to wait.
After being misled several times by this company and chasing them for about 3 weeks I gave up, I requested a refund of my money to which I was answered they do not do refunds. I had to mention the word 'chargeback' to get my money back.
Take this information into consideration before you make an emotional purchase with this company:
1. You have to do the work you are paying them to do, meaning you would have to do the calls, the texts, the emails if you want to get some piece of information.
2. You will not get updates and your emails will not be answered. You would work directly with the breeder, and you would learn this through the process, not upfront, good luck with that! because this person has no contract or obligation with you.
3. The person with whom you would close the deal is the less helpful person in the process.
4. You would never receive a healthcare status of the puppy you are buying
5. Pawrade doesn't care to make this experience seamless for you.
**TO ANSWER PAWRADE RESPONSE:
"Your adoption request was declined by PetPay and refunded in full as we found you not fit to adopt and raise a puppy. We strive to ensure every puppy is being placed in a loving home with individuals for whom are compassionate towards life"
-THIS STATEMENT IS A LIE: Under your company eyes, I was a perfect fit when I paid to get a puppy, but all of a sudden when your company beaches the contract I became a not fit. Let me take you out your margin of error, YOUR COMPANY IT IS NOT THE RIGHT PLACE TO ADOPT A PUPPY due to the lack of professionalism
"Your puppy was never "sick" as you claim, your puppy had a slight cough. We take a Puppy First Approach and require ANY small ailment be addressed by the breeder and their Veterinarian before allowing the puppy to be released for travel. That means we care!!"
- In which part of this process did your company care about? when your company provided me the medical report from the Veterinarian that I never receive?
"When the puppy nanny communicated to you that her husband was having emergency surgery, you stated that wasn't your problem, you lacked sympathy, compassion and began making demands and threats. Your private nanny was even willing to leave her husband in the hospital immediately after surgery without waiting for him to come so she could deliver your puppy. Talk about service!"
- ONCE AGAIN THIS STATEMENT IS A LIE: The nanny never communicated with me, I had to call the breeder to find out what was the status of the puppy travel. After learning the nanny situation, I told her there was no issue, I totally understand human adversity, what I do not understand is the lack of care from your company to provide good customer service to your clients- the ones who call you, the ones who pay you, the ones who trust in your company to go through the adoption of a puppy. Here is the problem, YOUR COMPANY DID LESS THAN NOTHING TO PROVIDED A GOOD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
"Our process requires a hands-on approach. We are a part of every single communication point between buyer and breeder. We take the time to educate buyers on puppy ownership all while addressing all of their questions. We cannot provide you answers if you do not ask questions."
-It is unfortunately I can not post and share screenshots of the lack of communication from your company staff.
"You actually demanded the puppy nanny find a flight immediately that day"
-THE CHERRY ON TOP: I never demanded anything. The breeder called me and offered me that she would look for a flight and send the puppy as a solution to address this situation and she will call me back with a resolution. Guess what? I never got that call.

Hi Johanna,
Your adoption request was declined by PetPay and refunded in full as we found you not fit to adopt and raise a puppy. We strive to ensure every puppy is being placed in a loving home with individuals for whom are compassionate towards life.
Your puppy was never "sick" as you claim, your puppy had a slight cough. We take a Puppy First Approach and require ANY small ailment be addressed by the breeder and their Veterinarian before allowing the puppy to be released for travel. That means we care!!
When the puppy nanny communicated to you that her husband was having emergency surgery, you stated that wasn't your problem, you lacked sympathy, compassion and began making demands and threats. Your private nanny was even willing to leave her husband in the hospital immediately after surgery without waiting for him to come to so she could deliver your puppy. Talk about service!
We cannot control unexpected life altering events such as this.
Our process requires a hands on approach. We are a part of every single communication point between buyer and breeder. We take the time to educate buyers on puppy ownership all while addressing all of their questions. We cannot provide you answers if you do not ask questions.
You actually demanded the puppy nanny find a flight immediately that day, all while not sympathizing with her current situation and allowing her to appropriately care for her husband.
Once management became aware of this we acted quickly to cancel your adoption request in the best interest of the puppy, the breeder and all parties involved.

*****EDIT
I’ve seen your reply and have sent an email. Just because someone chooses to be anonymous online for personal reasons doesn’t mean you should be unprofessional and rude.
Paid for a puppy from a breeder in Indiana - was led the wrong direction several times by the websites staff, complained directly to the staff and the breeder’s staff about how horrible my time using this service has been. I will never purchase another dog through Pawrade. I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if all these “employees” have been giving me the run around because it’s actually a scam.

Chelsi, thank you for providing the additional information. I am sorry you are having a difficult time. I see you just purchased your puppy 3 days ago. You had agreed to have your puppy delivered to VA but this morning you requested to switch to NJ for delivery tomorrow. We are trying to work with you to ensure we can get your puppy delivered happy & healthy. Last minute changes like this aren't always easy, so I apologize if there have been some bumps in the road. I am going to have your puppy concierge reach out to you as soon as possible to ensure everything goes smoothly.

I purchasd a puppy for my boys 7 and 4 …
I purchasd a puppy for my boys 7 and 4 from this website thinking it would be the best and safest route. I received our fur baby on February 25th 2021.This was their first puppy and we were so excited about what we thought would be such a beautiful experience and it only ended up being the worst experience for them. Pawrade states that the puppy must go to the vet within 72 hours upon arrival. The vet was extremely upset on the puppies health condition. I was completely shocked because we thought Pawrade “Health Guarantee “ was held to a high standard. This puppy was only 9 weeks old and already receiving antibiotics (within the 72hours) . We purchase a frenchton , on the website his name is spot. I’m writing a review hoping who ever reads this and received Spots siblings or recently received a sick pup within the last week and a half please contact me .
After the puppy was givin his first antibiotics plus Pesticide medicine and ear medicine. We took him back to our vet and the vet mentioned that the puppy wasn’t in good condition. On the 5th day of having him we notice the puppy getting more ill so we rushed him back and the vet diagnosed him with Parvo. Parvo takes 6-10 days to appear and see symptoms. On the very 6th day of having the puppy he had to receive IV and stay over night at the vet for 4 days to receive treatment, as he was fighting for his life. We had three different vets tell us that this puppy already came extremely ill and that it most likely came from a puppy mill, given the condition it was in. Unfortunately the puppy didn’t make it and he passed away March 6th 2021 . We are so heartbroken and upset because we thought we were going the safe route in using Pawrade , but after doing my research and investigating myself this website isn’t as legit as they state they are. I feel like Pawrade is not taking the appropriate actions in making this right. I still don’t have a clear answer. They provided the form that states the 72 hour rule and Upon reading that form we understood that because we never thought we were receiving a already sick puppy. It was within the 72 hours that the vet stated that the puppy wasn’t in good health condition.

Mandy - We were saddened to learn about your puppy Spot after leaving a 5 star review on March 1st on Pawrade.com.
Pawrade is a dog-loving community and we do all that we can to ensure our puppies are happy and healthy, that includes a full head to tail vet exam before the puppy traveled to you. We do everything we can and educate our buyers that a puppy’s immune system isn’t yet fully developed.
You just filed the formal health claim with PetPay a few hours ago. We have yet to receive the documentation from your veterinarian. On March 4th, we provided instruction on exactly how to proceed so we may ensure your puppy received adequate treatment. We are waiting for documentation from your Veterinarian to ensure those protocols were followed.
We proudly stand by our Health Guarantee, but do require you follow our protocols. At the same time we ask that you give us some time while we work with your vet to determine the nature and cause of your puppies death which is extremely disheartening.

Puppy came from a licensed dealer :(
* I would go through BBB, however Pawrade isn’t appearing as BBB accredited and their reviews are currently not able to be seen online. Next Day Pet reviews can be seen on BBB. Pawrade informed me they are in some way related to or known as or are nextday pets on one of our calls. Be prepared if you are leaving anything other than a positive review here! Even Pawrade admits to over 10 hours of communicating with me since my one star review went up; and there is nothing calling to yell at me, threaten me, or talk to me will change. Anyone, including Pawrade, wanting to see the emails, texts, and learn what was stated on Pawrade’s recorded calls for verification of my horrid experience please contact me (I am on FB). And thank you to those that have shared their experiences with me already. It seems it’s a tough go if you leave an honest poor review.*
The puppy I bought came from a licensed dealer that hasn’t been a licensed breeder since 2013 according to the USDA website. At this time the USDA cannot confirm to me that she is a licensed breeder, and according to the USDA the inspections differ greatly. She currently has listings visible online of many (at least 7) breeds of dogs with multiple litters for sale and NOT a specialized licensed breeder of up to 2 or 3 breeds and litters as Pawrade claimed to me on recorded phone calls. On an inspection report in March of 2020 there were more than 90 dogs in the kennel of the breeder. Terms used on the kennel’s site are terms listed on warning signs of breeders you may not want to support. I would have chosen not to, had I known. I bought a puppy. I got a puppy. My issue is with Pawrade. And my overall experience with Pawrade has been horrible.
I would never knowingly have bought the puppy and financially supported the environment (more than a few breeds, kennel raised, numbers of puppies higher than I am comfortable with) this puppy came from; even if it is a blue ribbon “kennel”.
I am consulting with others as to whether the situation with Pawrade falls under online false claims based on statements on the Pawrade website, recorded verbal statements, and contracts. I HAVE NEVER REQUESTED A REFUND. I was asked if I wanted a refund and I said NO! (Once again this is on a recorded call) I did communicate my findings of the quantity of breeds and puppies involved in the kennel my puppy came from to Pawrade in case they were unaware. (In my opinion and experience, this puppy is the least socialized puppy of any puppy of any breed that I have met in my decades on earth. I have never gotten a puppy raised in a kennel nor with this quantity of dogs, however. I changed puppy’s name so I would never expect her to come to a name yet; I am referring to other aspects of socialization) The conversation with Pawrade was combative and stressful with raised voices as I’m sure they’ll illustrate in their reply to this. After that, I left a one star review, then I experienced another high stress, confrontational call ...and then a warning that I could be sued for my review...by “ownership”. Multiple calls totaling hours. After the second call and attack, I asked to not be contacted again. But that was not the end.
My review has nothing to do with my absolute horror that Swirl got away from me and this is no one’s fault except my own. My review is regarding Pawrade not the puppy. I never said I wanted to give her back, get an exchange, or get a refund nor thought anyone was at fault except me. Just see how awful Pawrade will be when there is an issue, feedback, or concern after payment! Thank goodness I didn’t actually want or need any sort of assistance or cooperation from them. Their communications serve as an illustration of their company culture, I’m left to assume. I’ve endured personal attacks and changing stories about the breeder’s personal life situation that don’t address why they told me the puppy was from an environment different than the truth. I’m dealing in facts not looking for justification.
And at this point the threat of a lawsuit was just texted to me from Pawrade/PetPay. I wonder why they only have positive reviews?!

**Holly's original review had no mention she lost the dog and refuses to take responsibility for her actions and instead lay the blame on others. This all started because Holly lost her dog and wanted Pawrade to give her a refund but failed to leave that very important detail out of her review? We love our customers, we have spent 10+ hours talking with Holly through this horrible situation but nothing we say or do is good enough and she keeps updating her review. According to her latest update she found the dog 24 hours later, we are happy Swirl has been found!**
Holly was delivered a happy and healthy puppy from a REPUTABLE BLUE RIBBON BREEDER NOT A DEALER.
Holly has continued to post misrepresentations and false accusations regarding her breeder. Holly’s puppy Swirl had a clean head to tail vet exam and negative fecal test before departure. Unfortunately, when Holly got to her destination she attempted to put a harness on Swirl but she got loose and ran off. Holly attempted to lay the blame on the breeder and then furthermore, Pawrade trying to claim that since the puppy didn't respond or come on command that the puppy was from a puppy mill. This cannot be further from the truth.
Holly’s breeder is recently widowed, has three kids, her mother lives with her. The puppies often sleep in her kid's beds at night for extra comfort and companionship for her kids and the puppies. Her mother breeds Shorkies and Morkies.
Again, Swirl’s breeder is a Blue Ribbon breeder which is very difficult to attain. Her late husband was able to attain a USDA Dealer license for which she wants to be able to provide to her children one day. This is an absolute statement of fact and reiterated in our conversations with Swirl's breeder today.
We understand this is a very disappointing time for Holly as she wanted Pawrade "to rectify the situation" but we were unable to issue a refund since she lost the puppy after delivery. She has now decided to spread misinformation, about our company because she lost her own puppy and cannot take personal responsibility. She contacted us after delivery to let us know she lost the puppy and began claiming Swirls breeder was a puppy mill in an effort to seek a refund.
We indeed have a no Puppy Mill Pledge and Holly was delivered a happy & healthy puppy from a USDA licensed breeder that we are sure she would have loved, if she didn't lose right away.
Our customer reviews stand for themselves with regards to puppy temperament, love and affection, and our amazing customer service. However, we will not stand for misrepresentations and false accusations.

we bought a dog and he was dead a week…
we bought a dog and he was dead a week later, from parvo which we know he got during transport, we never took the dog any where, he was transported with 18 other dogs in a van. He was sick 3 days after
we got him. Because of covid 19 we could not get a wellness exam for 2 weeks. they did not explain until after we bought the dog. we bought him 9/16 he was delivered on 9/21, that we had 72 hours to get him to a vet. so they now refuse to reimburse us for the dog, it also cost us $7,000.00 in medical bills.
and they still show the dog as i found a home. we gave them doctor's letters stating the dog had parvo before we got him. we sent them copies of bills for vets and hospital over $10,000.00 and we have nothing. with the insurance that they have they left us with nothing but bills good luck buy in your own state. benny was never outside our house, we chose their pampered travel which was suppose to be the best. no one ever called us and discussed with us anything about the dog being in a van with 18 other dogs we were shocked to find this out, there was also supposed to be a nanny with him, there was none. also we emailed back in forth that it was impossible to get an exam, they never came out and said anything about checking for parvo. you are not allowed to go to Banfield clinics, where you can walk in without an appointment. I emailed them that they were prolonging me getting an appointment with the vet because they would not send the medical records, requested twice benny's medical records, which they ignored those requests. Also we found out that there were 3 other cases of parvo in the hospital where Benny was and were brought up from Missouri, where benny came from. The doctors told us and pawrade that Benny was transported too soon and did not have any defense against it. we asked for some kind of proof that no other dog had parvo in that van, they never gave any. The doctors from the hospital sent a letter letting them know Benny had died. Don't be fooled by them as we were, it cost us $10,000.00 and all we have are ashes.
Response from PawradeNov 19, 2020
We had been in contact with Angela regarding the unfortunate circumstances of Benny (Reilly) and are disappointed and sorry for her loss. Angela Rao purchased a Dachshund, was in full communication before the sale, during the sale and after the sale. We educated her on proper puppy ownership including parvo safeguards. Unfortunately, she did not abide by our post-sale Parvo prevention protocols, nor did she abide by the requirement to see a Veterinarian upon delivery. Benny (Reilly) left the breeder with a full head to tail Veterinarian health clearance.
CPV is a highly contagious virus that is spread from dog to dog by direct or indirect contact with their feces. In order for Benny (Reilly) to have had Parvo prior to delivery this means he would have been in contact with an infected dog either in his original environment from his littermates, or during transport with the other puppies on the vehicle.
The other part to this is if Benny (Reilly) in fact had Parvo prior to delivery this means the other puppies would have been exposed to this highly contagious virus. We want to be clear that we have conducted an extremely thorough investigation with our contact tracing and no other puppies that traveled with Benny (Reilly) nor that were in his litter contracted Parvo. Not a single one.
We have contacted the breeder who has reached out to her individual buyers that purchased Benny's (Reillys) littermates and confirmed there were NO CASES of Parvo in the remainder of the litter. We have also contacted the transportation company that delivered Benny (Reilly). Angela chose our shared ground transportation option, which means Benny (Reilly) was in a vehicle with other puppies, however each puppy has its own private crate and never in contact with the other puppies. The transportation company contacted all of the buyers that had puppies delivered on the same truck. There were NO CASES of Parvo in any of the other puppies that traveled with Benny (Reilly).
After this thorough investigation we have concluded as an intermediary party that Benny (Reilly) contracted Parvo post delivery under the care of Angela. Please remember this virus can be contracted in many public places. Anywhere that an infected dog could have been, currently is or the feces has been can spread Parvo. This includes the vet clinic floor, parking lots, pet store floors, dog parks, commonly walked areas, etc.
There are a few different reasons why this claim has been denied. We provide several documents at the time of purchase informing our customers that they do have obligations as owners of new puppies. We disclose information on Parvo in these documents and on our phone calls prior to delivery as well. More than anything else we stress on several different occasions that it is mandatory to make a veterinarian appointment within 72 hours of receiving the puppy. The puppy was purchased on 09/13, at the time of purchase as well as on 09/14 and again on 09/16 Angela was informed via email about the 72 hour requirement for the initial vet visit. We have copies of every email sent for every transaction with timestamps. The puppy was received on 09/21 and the information from the documents provided states the veterinarian was not seen for a checkup until 09/25. It was reported without any supported documented evidence that Benny (Reilly) passed away on 09/30/2020. Parvo has an incubation period of 48 hours up to 7 days whereas puppies and their underdeveloped immune systems generally show symptoms within 48-72 hours. Puppies for whom have not received their 4-month Parvo booster unfortunately may be exposed to Parvo and begin to show signs within 48 hours. It is very important new puppy owners take appropriate precautions to protect these precious lives.
Once your payment is approved by the breeder an email is provided with this information. This is also gone over in our Health Guarantee and on multiple phone calls with our staff before delivery. We understand that this is an unfortunate circumstance as we are in close contact with our breeders daily checking on the health and happiness of these puppies. We understand how severe Parvo is and are sure to take all the precautions we know are necessary with new puppies.
We have also asked for a death certificate as well as an autopsy listing the cause of death and have not received either document. Although with these documents, our regulations and protocols still were not abided by Angela.
Please understand that we are here to protect not just customers and breeders but mainly the puppies and this is why we have these documents and regulations in place.
