Our puppy is healthy and happy. I feel we were working with an honest company and not a puppy mill. Our dog is truly a wonderful addition to our family. NEW EDIT: May 27th: I love my dog, but he is showing some troubling signs. I have contacted the breeder, but they have not responded. The breeder said they would send the rabies certificate, but when I follow up there is no response. Now that the dog has been with me for two weeks, it seems to me he may have been raised in a puppy mill. I have been patient and will continue to love and train him, however, if I had to do it over, I would have rescued a dog instead of using an out of state breeder.

Positives: The puppy was in good health, the website is easy to use, and validation of buyers identity is on point. They communicate well. With that being said, there are many things I expect (from years of exposure to dog breeders and dog shows). 1. They typically want you to come to their facility. 2. They want you to meet the litter and show off the dam (sometimes the sire but usually just the dam). 3. They want to meet you themselves and gauge if you're a good dog parent. Pawrade misses the mark on items 1 and 2, but I think they are fairly decent on item 3. The breeders are kept secret from buyers. We don't get to know their name, we don't get to see their facility, or even video clips of the facility. They finally got us on a Zoom call so we could see two of the puppies left from the litter, but the dam wasn't there and they refused to let us see her. We could only see the dog play area. The people on the call was one Pawrade employee and two kennel workers. We pressed them to meet the dam...oh well you can't pick up from the breeder you have to meet them in a random parking lot. So then we asked, well, can they bring the dam with them to the pickup location? Their response was ridiculous, essentially "oh the dam could get sick, they don't want to take her anywhere, this is their income and they aren't going to risk it by letting a dam get sick." That is the most absurd excuse I have ever heard. A reputable breeder isn't making a living at it-it's a hobby. Furthermore, a dam should not have more than 5 litters in her lifetime-which doesn't exactly pay the bills. And the odds of a dog getting parvo are extremely slim in that situation, it is usually spread in kennels. I had to show my driver's license to prove my identity. The breeders have to show nothing to us as buyers. Pawrade keeps them anonymous. Pawrade needs to create some transparency on the breeder's side. Otherwise how can I trust them? Edit: I'm disappointed Pawrade is doubling down on things I find objectionable in their response and continue to act like I am new to having dogs. Additionally, I still do not know who the breeder was.

Pawrade needs to make sure that the breeders and vets actually check the dogs before being sent out i received my pup and on his first check up with my vet found out he had mites in his ears and a bunch of black stuff in his ears. Costed me a extra 250 bucks at the vet plus all the supplies i needed to by to make sure my house wasnt full of mites after all the money we already spent Just to get him here. And all you guys wanted to give me was a slap in the face of 50 bucks back. Other then that big issue the experience was good and the pup is good so far.

You shouldn't have to go to their website to unsubscribe from emails. Another step, another inconvenience.

Pawrade is well organized and in my opinion has good guardrails for the breeder and buyer. I do however have a big problem with Metlife insurance rolled into the process, especially when you follow all the guidelines given by Pawrade with the help of MetLife. My claim was denied immediately within the 72 hour window of my wellness check required by both entities. My small Chiwawa had a small lipoma that the breeders Vet missed in its r rear upper leg area and I wanted it removed but denied. Be very cautious about the PET INSURANCE industry with all their legal definitions and exclusions!! Also go the extra mile and examine your dog thoroughly if you are picking him up yourself. Don't get caught up in the puppy excitement and fail to look him over well. Don't ever fully trust the breeders Vet or breeder because in my case this genetic lypoma was missed or ignored by both, then the promise of insurance FAILED, and Im stuck with the removal. If the wellness check is performed by the breeders Vet and a Lipoma is missed, it should be fully covered and paid for !!!!!

We are thrilled with the newest addition to our family—our happy new puppy. However, I feel compelled to share my honest experience with the Pawrade service. The travel concierge responsible for arranging the puppy's transportation could have been more responsive. Urgent messages dictated by the travel timeline were not adequately addressed. The $1,199 Airpanion service lacked transparency regarding delays in securing a nanny, which can take at least one to two weeks. Furthermore, since nannies fly standby, the puppy's arrival may be delayed further depending on their availability. This critical information should have been clearly communicated before buyers committed to using Airpanion or decided to travel independently to pick up their newly purchased puppy. Reaching the travel concierge by phone was nearly impossible, with responses on the message board taking 2–3 days. Additionally, the tone of communication lacked warmth and compassion, failing to make me feel valued as a customer making an important decision. I had to repeatedly call to get updates. While some staff members were helpful—answering calls and connecting me with the breeder to coordinate the puppy's drop-off at Springfield, MO airport—the travel concierge should have been more accessible and responsive by phone. This lack of communication was both frustrating and nerve-wracking. Additionally, getting a refund for the Airpanion service involved a $100 fee. I had to repeatedly inquire about the refund, and no one responded until I tried calling all the phone numbers I could find. Eventually, I received an answer. There should be one person assigned to oversee the entire puppy purchasing process, especially since this is in Springfield, Missouri, outside California. Purchasing a puppy is an exciting yet significant decision and a long-term commitment. Communication channels should have been smoother and far less stressful.

These are such well written reviews….it makes you wonder. Also, they speak about “trust”, “loss”, “pity parties”, aaallll the areas & things people would consider. The puppies seem over the top cute & the cost of them is really high. Just be careful. Read eVeRy ThInG!!! They may be giving you a huge credit line that you have to make payments on…and late payments with fees. Be careful!

Update: Once I recieved the breeders information, I did a search of his name. He is in fact a puppy mill owner. He has 72 breeding dogs. He has been fined for unclean and unsafe conditions. I am sorry that I fell for the promises. Even so, my puppy is healthy and Pawrade was easy to work with. Nonetheless, they do work with puppy mills. Pawrade was responsive to all my inquiries prior to and during my purchase of my Chihuahua puppy. I was highly concerned about the possibility of getting a pup from a puppy mill. Even though Pawrade has a "no puppy mill pledge." I wasn't confident that they were able to vet their breeders to determine this claim. However, once my puppy arrived, all my concerns were alleviated. My puppy arrived, clean, healthy and well socialized. She had clear and thorough vet records which clearly indicated a pup that had consistent vet care since birth. She had a healthy clean stool the first day she arrived. Which of course, let me know she was free of parasites. I am very very very pleased!
