Beautiful loving puppy
The bottom line is my dog came to me with Pavo. It’s a disease where the dog throws up and poops out the lining of their stomach. It’s a terrible thing to watch and to have to deal with. Some puppies are lucky and live, but my puppy died. It was not detectable for three days. Which is about as long as it takes for them to show signs of it after exposure. I spent almost $5000 trying to save her with outpatient care and then in a pet hospital. I tried bringing her to the vets every day for out patient treatments, Finally, the vet told me her white blood count was just too low and that if there was any chance at all she would have to be in a pet hospital 24/7. She was there for a few more days and she died. Poor thing, and I was out five grand in vet bills. Trying to save her. I was sent $500 and the cost of the dog back minus the commission that the sales person got! It was a heartbreaking and disastrous financial experience. The breeder said it must’ve happened in the van. The van company said it must’ve happened at the breeders, and the company said there is no other financial help. It’s in the contract read the contract. I’m sure this is rare, but it happened.

Linda, We are so sorry that this happened. Parvo can be difficult to treat in puppies and can be fatal. Despite the best efforts of everyone there are still very rare cases of a pup becoming infected. This can happen at anytime, anywhere, and the pup not show any symptoms for days.
