This Website is Selling Puppy Mill Puppies
I bought a puppy through PetPay/Pawrade and after picking her up and taking her to her first vet visit, I have no doubt that this puppy came from a puppy mill. For starters, only after purchasing the dog (paying FULL price) through the website and waiting until 1 day prior to scheduled pick up was I given the breeder's information. I was given no information on the breeder's practices or pictures of their facilities. I should have known that this was a puppy mill situation at that point - but then the breeder would not let me pick the puppy up at their facility nor was I permitted to meet the parents and I knew there must be a problem. No reputable breeder keeps people from seeing their dogs or their facilities. When I picked the dog up, she was completely filthy and smelly and her ears full of gunk. I took the dog to my vet today and she has ear mites. The dog is also being fed a brand of food that no one I have spoken with recognizes, including my vet. I am going to begin to file claims for the ear mites and hope nothing worse happens...... Will update review after going through the claims process.

Hey Megan, we are sorry to hear that we were not able to meet all of your expectations with the adoption of your new pup. Our customer service manger Kelli did reach out to you several times to address your concerns but did not receive a response. Your breeder is very reputable and in no way should be compared to a "puppy mill". That simply is not true and not fair to make that claim simply because your pup had a very minor and common condition of ear mites. This is easily remedied with cleaning and ear drops and is covered in our Petpay health guarantee that you made a claim under and have been reimbursed. It is also common for a pup that is bred in a kennel where they romp and play with their siblings all day to be a little smelly. That is why we recommend to every buyer to give their pup a good bath at their earliest convenience once they have them home. Your pup was being fed Pro Pac Performance Puppy by her breeder. This is a high quality food used by many professional breeders and is readily available at places like Chewy.com and Walmart. It is readily available and easily found at many local and online retailers. We also strongly recommend to our breeders that they meet in a public, neutral place to deliver a pup to its new family. This is strictly for safety purposes. I'm sure you have seen the many news stories involving thefts, robberies, and assaults related to pups and dogs. This is what law enforcement officials recommend and we agree it is what is the most safe for everyone involved. Dixie certainly is an adorable mini Aussiedoodle that we are sure will be an amazing companion and family member. We wish you the best for many fun filled years to come! Please reach out to Kelli in the message center if you would like to further discuss any issues.
