Although I love my new puppy I am thoroughly confused because this is not the puppy I paid for her name is Dawn my puppies name was Sunrise it was a two day delay in transport and communication about her weight and updated pictures was not provided therefore I’m not giving five stars and it was hard to give three

Update: thanks for responding Pawrade. I did not receive any registration paperwork. It’s been 5 months since he was delivered. I was told last time I should get it in the mail from breeder. So far, I have nothing. The only paperwork I have is what was sent via delivery driver. Petpay transfer of ownership and his vaccine records. I left an honest review and I’m leaving it at that. Breed doesn’t matter to us, but it might to another customer. He’s definitely not a 100% shihtzu. I wanted to talk about a few things about our puppy we bought from pawrade. First of all, he's adorable and we love him. However, we were told he's purebred shih tzu, which is not true. He's a mix of shih tzu/poodle or shih tzu/maltese or shih tzu with another breed. Also, I see how pawrade shows they don't support puppy mills but i have a doubt Mozart (our puppy) might be from a breeder who's doing just that. His vet told us his vaccines (specifically Rabies) were administered too early so we needed to redo some vaccines (which is not an issue). The vet told us a lot of puppy mills do that since they're around lots of other dogs. The breeder doesn't have a business name, all papers just have the owner's name. I am not sure if they're legit breeders, or how I can find that out? I was given a name and phone number, which I couldn't find online that is related to a business. The breeder never sent his rabies chip (we got the new one from his current vet), his microchip info and his registration papers. The reason I have not contacted earlier is he's growing and now it's pretty obvious he's not a purebred shih tzu. I don't know what mix he is, so it's hard for us to figure out any health concerns. Regardless of all this, we don't care about what breed Mozart is. We love him very much because he's still very adorable and brought lots of joy to our family. I also want to say everyone on pawrade's staff was very nice and communication was good. But, please look into the breeder to confirm.

Most positive thing was the Customer Service Reps, excellent service! The reason for the 3 stars was everything after that! I was told I would be given notice when my puppy was picked up and when he would be delivered. Didn’t happen, I was notified by MetLife instead of the Ground Carrier! I had to text the driver numerous times as to when he would be delivered-I work so I need to know so I can request a day off-no answer. I emailed Deane and she told me he would come on Friday-I requested that day off. The day he was to be delivered the Driver notified me that he would be delivered Saturday, much better for me! Friday I was notified that he would be delivered between 3 am to 6 am, I text them to see if they could deliver him around 7, no answer. Saturday around 3 am again I text about his delivery time and if he could be delivered around 7-7:30 am No answer. I get up at 4 am just in case. I get a message around 6:30 that he had arrived but he had went to the wrong house, so I gave him my address again and waited outside for the Driver. The Driver was very friendly, well mannered and it was a perfect hand off, but I didn’t receive a carrier with him! I paid $699 and no carrier, with the airlines I would have gotten one! I was also upset with the fact that it was stated he was crate trained as well as pad trained- wrong again! I don’t mind pad training and crate training him but let me know! The puppy was very healthy but it took him a couple of days to recover from his being sedated for his cross country journey with 22 other pups but I’m just happy he was healthy and got to me in the end. I feel that you have a good company but once you work out the rough patches it will be an awesome company. Also please review the financiers of loans, at 108% interest, it would be nice if you could offer ones with much, much lower interest rates. All in all absolutely love my puppy! Thank You

The inconsistent having to call and check up on the puppy! I got him to vet., 12 hours of receiving him and he has an ear infection!

We were very excited based on the reviews we read. Picked our sweet baby girl, arranged for travel, and then travel was delayed three times. The only reason we didn’t end up waiting a month for our pup is because we made a road trip to pick her up. When I offered other days due to the weather, we were told that the breeder would only fly on two days, despite knowing that there would not be good weather on either of those days for the foreseeable future. We love our pup, but we don’t know that we’ll use Pawrade again after this experience. Based on their reply, this deserves an edit. Yes, we live in Colorado, however there were several other days that she could be flown when it was not cold, and we were locked into two days. I don’t think that my understanding was an issue, I think that the lack of flexibility on your end and the breeder’s was. I don’t appreciate being attacked in your reply to my review. Don’t ask for reviews if you can’t handle receiving negative feedback. I will not waist time with another review or response.

Pawrade was great,delivery was not. Morgan from transportation called me the day before he was scheduled to be delivered and told me that he was going to be sent to the mailing address instead of my actual address. They then wanted to send him back to the breeder and redeliver. That would be 15 days of travel. No way. They delivered as promised but it shouldn’t have been such a hassle.

I found Pawrade cumbersome in having so many different people to communicate with throughout the process. Seems it would be more user friendly to have one contact person throughout. Also sometimes took 2 days or more to get a question answered. My breeder was accommodating and helpful even though I only received his contact info 24 hours before pick up time. We were well into our 11 hour drive to pick up the puppy before we ever made contact with to verify the transfer of ownership. The puppy is adorable and fitting in well at our home.

This is actually a two part review, one that hopefully Pawrade will act on. I found a Pug puppy on the Pawrade website. I read the many wonderful reviews and as I did not want a puppy mill puppy, I valued their 'no puppy mill pledge.' I spoke to a person locally who had previously gotten their puppy from Pawrade and were pleased with their puppy and the service. I did my homework, or so I thought. I chose a female Pug named Jass who was pictured in a residential home and was listed as being born on 10/8/ 21 and would be ready to go to her new home on 12/31. Everything went smoothly until the day of delivery. A mix up with the pet nanny resulted in the breeder having to reschedule the flight for later in the day. We were okay with that. The pet nanny had a time crunch to get back on his return flight. We had a 5 minute hand off: was given the AKC paper work, handed the health form, took a fast picture as required by Pawrade and the nanny was on his way back to his gate to return home. Our puppy is adorable, but not the 3 month old pug pictured in the listing. On the way home, we noticed some sneezing and a runny nose from our new pup. The next day (Sunday) she was coughing. We took her to our vet on Monday and he suspected kennel cough. She also had Giardia. We noticed that her health form stated that her birth date was 10/30/21 making her barely 8 weeks and only 4 lbs. Full disclosure- our vet believes that she is currently 6-7 weeks old. Dr. Stone immediately put her on antibiotics and by Wednesday she was back in the office with Pneumonia. She was so ill that we thought we might lose her. Blood work, x rays, stronger antibiotics, twice daily trips back to the vet for nebulizer treatments, we now currently owe the vet more than $2,100.00 on top of the price of the pup and the flight expenses. The Metlife insurance that comes with the puppy and which we extended, is not going to cover this. We have been pug owners for 30 years. This experience is a sad first for us. Pawrade, you have a breeder problem.
