Read and BELIEVE the reviews
Pawrade had good communication with me during the process. Though it took a while because my dog (6 mo labradoodle) was quite big and didn't fit on the aircraft, etc, we eventually got him here after a few weeks. There was also a hurricane in Florida where the driver was coming from, so that made the delay only a little further. However, Pawrade should really consider a new breeder program or something. There are way to many reviews saying that puppies are arriving unhealthy and without shots. My dog arrived in the same condition. Samson (listed as Toby, but all his paperwork said the name Twink on it), arrived with an ear infection that didn't come from the stress of traveling because of the stage it was in. That was not an overnight stressful trip ear infection. There was gunk and grossness in there and he needed medication for that. Samson also arrived with coccidia and he was not potty trained like I was told he was. And, while I know that animals need an adjustment period, Samson was not lost or looking for a door when he decided to relieve himself. He just popped a squat and that was it. And he did it every time, even after we took him out, etc. He's not potty trained at all. I was told, by Tom, who spoke to the breeder before I even reserved Samson, that he was NOT a chewer. That's obviously not true. He's an avid chewer. But I've got chew toys now, thank God. Lastly, Samson did NOT arrive with good records. He had one rabies shot, which is all he needed as far as rabies-though I was concerned that he hadn't had a rabies shot until a day or two before he was supposed to fly out. A six month old dog with no up-to-date shots is dangerous. The breeders should not breed if they are not going to keep the dogs healthy. They are a harm to the puppy. Samson also did NOT have all his parvo shots. He'd had one. Later I found out he had two shots, but they were too far apart, and Samson had gone all this time unprotected from parvo and rabies. That's ridiculous and dangerous. Transportation was fine. Samson did arrive at midnight, but the transporter was in communication with me the entire time. I could easily give this review one star, but only half of the blame is on Pawrade. They need to do their due diligence and make sure breeders are sending in up to date records and healthy pups. Change around the submission so the records are on file before the puppy is adopted or something. I have no idea what they can do, and I have no idea what their current process is. However, I do know that Pawrade needs to make more of an effort to protect the puppies they're adopting out. Check breeders, double check them, do what's necessary. And it's really sad that Samson's case isn't special. You're allowing folks to put a puppy's life on the line, you shouldn't do that. Nonetheless though, Pawrade and PetPay have been in good communication with me, and they're working to get things settled with the breeder as far as shots and reimbursement.

Hi Angelena, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and providing us with your concerns. We are taking this very seriously and researching behind this. While we are very sorry for the ear infection and vaccination issues, we are happy our Health Guarantee can provide you some protection with this. We agree that the ear infection probably did not come from his short travel home, although he did have a few delays in travel that prolonged his homecoming and with those trips, he may have developed this as his health exam provided negative details for any ear issues prior. We know it's still no fun dealing with ailments as soon as your puppy arrives and understand how this was inconveniencing. We know potty training is no fun as well. 😬 We do have some breeders that start the process however we do not guarantee a potty trained pup as new environments and methods of training are confusing. But don't worry! He's a smart cookie and he'll figure out your method soon enough. Just stay diligent and constant with it and he will be sure to make you proud. We are wishing you all the best.💙🐶💙 Pawrade Team
